"I have had the pleasure of visiting Wanda's a couple of times and it is safe to say it is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. All of the ingredients and dishes are fresh, flavorful, creative, and well-priced. The service is also fantastic and quick! I would also recommend the pastries and fresh bread- the cookies are my favorite! Food: I have gone for both brunch and lunch, and am looking forward to enjoying the dinner menu as well. I ordered the smoked salmon avocado toast on the brunch menu. The bread is fresh and well toasted with a generous helping of avocado and excellent quality smoked salmon on top. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and altogether made for a satisfying and flavorful meal. The side salad has a good balance of acidity in the dressing that makes you want to order another plate! I have also ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and fries and it is probably the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. The breading on the chicken is well-seasoned and crispy and the chicken is juicy and flavored very well! The brioche bun, which I learned is made in-house, is a perfect complement to the savory chicken- it has a fluffy texture and deliciously subtle but familiar classic brioche taste. The sauce and slaw also add a great flavor and textural element that makes the whole dish come together beautifully. The fries are also a must-order; they are so crispy and taste amazing with a perfect crunch to soft inside ratio. I have ordered lattes both times as well, and the espresso is made perfectly. You can tell they have selected good quality espresso and know how to pull a good shot! Ambience: Wanda's has very tasteful and cohesive interior decoration. From the silverware and the plates to the rustic tables and chairs, it has a very comforting but clean aesthetic that complements the menu well. There are also elements of Crockett's history and the building's history on the wall which I think is very unique. Service: I have had the best service possible both times at Wanda's. Layla was the most remarkable, kind, and helpful server She took the time to explain the menu items to us in great detail and made excellent recommendations. She was very sweet and brought our food out to us quickly, and checked on us to make sure everything was good! I was thoroughly impressed and I hope everyone gets to have her as their server at Wanda's. Also a special thanks to the wonderful chef, Clara, for having such a nicely curated menu and making the most delicious food! All in all I highly, highly recommend Wanda's and cannot wait to be back for great service and great food."
