"I have just taken out of this store, but often order party size plates, as the quality of sushi is just excellent. Fresh fish rye and bonito flakes and high quality seafood. It is a little on the expensive side (only 1 of the 8 reels runs anywhere from 18 25$, but it is worth it. I love this place. The only thing I don't like is the supposed roles. I have one who was slightly burned on the top (maybe out of a torch, and they tended to have a butane aftertaste."

"I am going to this assessment with the fact that my family at joe often dinates. as one or two times a month, we do not make the journey of san jose a problem. joe’s is my family tradition and will continue to be. but this visit has prompted me to leave a review as I was always used to improve the food and service. not so much last night. they were all small things that were added to a bad visit. here is the sequence of the misses in no particular order of the positive 9:45 reserve event 9:20-seated 9:35-nice. 1. 15 minutes are waiting for contact to order 2. the margarita the wife came with a sugar rim instead of a salt rim 3. instead of two 4. did not bring the spoon after the second clam Chowder-just was thrown off by the chowder without asking if everything is good 5. a place where the fork in our group is missing. 6. Drinks were served shortly before main dishes, not in the usual contemporary wise. we can say the drinks for a past. 7. Spaghetti side had dried/hard noodles mixed in-that was the problem that prompted me to leave the review. we can deal with a late arriving spoon and fork, but the center of joe’s menu cannot be underpar. 8. bathroom unattended. no toilet paper in the women's stable. men are running over with paper towels. we could say that the crew has run off a busy night. that was cleared and closed when we had our meal. Maybe next time I have to make an earlier reservation. Joes vibe was all wrong on this."

"I absolutely love this restaurant! I usually order Japanese dishes, but they also offer Chinese specialties. They have unique daily specials displayed on a wall board, and I think the choices are great. I have tried many amazing sushi rolls that were all savory and delicious. Their homemade sauces, dressings, and traditional Japanese tempura batter are fantastic. The entrees have a unique fusion of Japanese and Chinese flavors that are all very tasty and flavorful. The service is fast, but seating is limited. The sauces, dressings, and sushi rolls have a wow factor with authentic Japanese flavors. The prices are fair for the generous portions. The female sushi chef, Paula, is amazing and very talented. The atmosphere is okay, not fancy, especially with fewer tables due to Covid. They offer a lot of takeout options with free items like chow mein, egg rolls, and fried rice for orders over $40 or $60. They have a variety of lunch specials for $9.50 over rice. The specialty rolls and regular sushi are all very fresh, flavorful, and served with natural ginger and wasabi. The spicy mayo and crab mix in the rolls are really tasty. I recommend trying all the specialty rolls like the Dragon Roll, Crunchy Roll, Tempura Roll, and some baked rolls. My personal favorite is the Fresh Mango Roll."

"Me and my family went to this place for breakfast. We wanted a nice dining experience with porridge and other delicacies. The food was subpar, and the service was worse. One of the waitresses near the counter literally forcibly took tip money from my dad’s hands before he could even give the tip to her. Tipping is voluntary, and we just wanted to show our appreciation. However, that waitress was extremely rude!"

"This place is not the best for burritos the rice is bland and burritos can be unbalanced ànd sloppy. The regular tacos are good. The menu doesn't match price its much higher. For example the menu taped on the front door and menu on wall says 10.95 for huevos con chorizo but it's really 14.95 before tax. The chorizo is in hose made and is the worst I tasted ever no flavor hella bland. I've tried this place with my family several times its not very good food at all. Verydisappointed."

"Tommy, the owner, is the best. Super sweet and friendly and explains how the menu works. Many options for vegetarians! We ate the tea-leaf salad and it was amazing. Crunchy, spicy and tasteful. We also have garlic noodles that were amazing! Never tasted such a garlic noodle. And it had a dress to go with it. We had the best experience. Thank you, Tommy and all the workers for a great experience."

"My family and I LOVE the chicken and waffles here. We come here often to eat after church or during the week when we don’t feel like cooking. We like to get the 8 peice family meal. It’s great for our family of 4. The Chicken is perfectly seasoned and tasty. The fires are perfect, the yams are really good. I usually get a sweet potato waffle and it’s sooo rich and tasty. As much as I love this place I would not recommend the Mac n cheese. It’s not my preferred texture. And the cherry on top of this meal is the Kool-Aid OMG It’s fantastic. Over all if you’re a fan of good fried chicken and waffles this place will not let you down. It’s delicious and it’s a staple restaurant for me and my house hold."

"This restaurant is really close to my house, and it serves excellent Japanese food. Every time we choose to dine here, we order the Choice of 3 Bento, which I feel is a fantastic deal! For $21, we get a generous portion of main protein and a small miso soup. When we're in the mood for sushi, we highly recommend the Hamachi Lover—it's consistently a great choice! My family is Japanese, and my father is a tough critic when it comes to Japanese cuisine, often saying that nothing compares to his mother's cooking. However, he gives this place a big thumbs up! Other dishes worth trying include the grilled squid (Ika), which is soft, buttery, and paired with a delightful sauce."

"Came here after a movie and this was the closest place that sells tofu soup. I wanted something warm in the stomach, we went here. To my surprise, the price didn't think about what I received. I got the Manduu Tofu Soup which was $16 and all they had was dumpling and tofu with the addition of an egg. Usually the places I visit would also have some beef and rice cakes in the soup. Service was quick and friendly but in terms of food portions per price paid. Definitely not worth it. But it's the Bay Area prices I guess."

I placed a pick up order for the beef chow fun and salt pepper chicken. The food was good and I would highly recommend. "Always messing up my order! On one occasion, I ordered a combo. My order arrived with no drink (which is included with the combo) or utensils. On another occasion, I ordered two combos with an order of samosas. My order arrived with NO samosas. It appears I'm not the only one with this issue. Check your bags before you leave! I enjoy their food, but I would certainly be better off spending my money elsewhere."

"Happy 75th Anniversary, In-N-Out! To celebrate their special anniversary, I had to make a trip over to one of my favorite burger spots. I can always count on In-N-Out for a delicious and satisfying meal. I really like that the food at In-N-Out is made with fresh, never frozen, high quality ingredients. The menu is simple and I appreciate that they allow you to customize your order the way you want it. I have never dined inside and usually use the convenient drive thru. I only go inside to order if the drive thru line wraps through the parking lot and out into the street. The lines at In-N-Out are always super long, but it is the only line I'd wait in for food because it moves pretty quickly. Thanks to the hard working and efficient employees, I usually order and have my food in about 10 minutes or less. My go-to order is a double-double with grilled onions and either plain fries or animal style fries. Their fries are okay and a good accompaniment for a burger, but I have to admit that I like McDonald's fries way better. A must order every visit is a pup patty (unseasoned grilled burger patty) for my dog Zoe. She absolutely loves In-N-Out burgers and also the occasional french fry. She gets so excited while waiting in the drive thru. Happy 75 years to In-N-Out and thank you for your incredible food, pup patties, and paper hat that I customized for my dog Zoe!"

"I don't think I'll ever crave galbi anywhere else but here. For about $20 you get a good portion with the thickest, tenderest, and tastiest galbi you'll ever get. It also comes with a heaping portion of japchae, rice, and kimchi. Japchae could use more sesame oil or soy sauce though. I also got kimchi fried rice and bibimbap with added bulgogi. While the portions are large, I wouldn't say those dishes were too tasty. And I found that adding extra meat to the kimchi fried rice was not worth it. I think I counted about 4 small pieces of bulgogi mixed in. Stick to the galbi when you go here."

"I ordered a burrito at 9:05 this morning to pickup on my way to the airport. They said 10 minutes.I walked into the taqueria at 9:30 needing to grab my burrito and go, we’ll after the estimated 9:15-9:20 it might take for them.As you can imagine, it wasn’t busy on a Monday morning.I paid and noticed the plancha/grill was empty. The staff smiled and said thanks and then said something to the cook. He opened up a container of precooked, pre sliced steak and started grilling it. They didn’t acknowledge anything about the time that passed or the time that it would take.I had to leave to catch my flight.Absolutely ridiculous.They did not offer a refund or acknowledge anything about this."

"Thursday night casual dinner. Prices are a little high for the quality and flavor of the food. I got the deluxe ramen and my boyfriend got the bbq pork bento. Didn't really enjoy the ramen much and found the chashu too sweet. The bento was a little better. Good portions, but most likely won't be back. I remember the rolls tasted good when I first went a year ago. Ordering those is probably a better bet."
