"Have these people seen 2 years in a row at the Coffee and Tea Festival in Oaks and by far they have the best, perfectly roasted coffee I've ever had. Never been a fan of Mexican coffee until I tried. Just amazing. And words cannot describe how incredible their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is. The staff was not only spectacular. Great people, big coffee. Check them if you are nearby"

"After five visits to Bua Loy I can say with great confidence that the food has consistently been excellent. The service is friendly and accommodating. Our family favorites are the crispy duck, astonishingly good, silken dumplings in curry sauce, the lovely sausage with a hint of lemon grass, larb gai salad fresh with mint, lime and fish sauce, Tom yum soup clear and brightly flavored and the wide drunken noodles to name a few. Their Thai iced tea is always a treat. In addition, I really appreciate the many vegan options or items that can be made vegan for our youngest daughter’s food preferences! An all around delightful dining experience.."

"This is a really beautiful place for home style authentic and hearty Thai food. Do not be discouraged from the Out-of-place 90 style decor and it is a little shaded location. The owners and the food are nice. I ordered spring rolls to go Satay and roast duck. Everything was good and the part was great for the price paid."

"Overall this was a disappointing experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside, with lots of greenery everywhere. Unfortunately, despite plenty of open indoor tables, we were seated in the covered outdoor space during a rainstorm, which had a far less pleasant ambiance. Service was indifferent/bored and slow throughout. Our waiter seemed better than some, but we still waited 20 minutes before anyone greeted us once we were seated. A guest at a nearby table dropped/broke a glass and the servers just put a chair over the broken glass and left it there all night. The food itself was mediocre. Plenty of quality/fresh ingredients but not always executed well. Portion sizes are inconsistent some dishes are too much to finish, others are ridiculously scanty. They do have a nice kids menu which was appreciated, and they were kind to our 9 year old. Would skip this one its just sort of meh and at this price point there are plenty of better options along the main line with superior service."

"We've been to Amis a few times and that was really a bad experience. It began with the free bread stale and literally only one slice and one half bread. We didn't even get the chance to ask more than the server whipped the remaining oil and plate. It seems now the Foccacia that they used to serve is as an appetizer and they calculate for them. The appetizers and entrees were served at the same time. There was no chance to enjoy the appetizers without the ducks getting cold. The last straw was the Bolognese not even near al dente. Definitely not cooked enough. Hard. And of course somewhere last year, Amis decided not to serve any of her budinos as dessert. That's a shame. You were wonderful. Not sure when or when we return."

"My wife and I have read reviews about this Thai, Laos and Vietnamese restaurant and decided to try it. Bua Loy in Devon has an inconvenient presence, but you can feel the warmth and kindness as soon as you go through the door. We were welcomed by soft laotic music and several employees. Bua feels like a family business. Our server Brendi was friendly and knowledgeable and had suggestions about the menu. The Nam Khao Salad was a highlight of the meal and my wife's favorite dish. The homemade Laotian Sausage was delicious and filled with taste. The spring rolls were crisp with a tasteful chili diving sauce. Brendi recommended that we try the stirring fry plate Pad Ka Prow with flank steak. A combination of crispy vegetables, butter beef in a slightly tasteful broth. For Dessert we hoped to try the coconut pudding, but it wasn't on the menu, so we decided on the chocolate mousse cake, which was sinfully dark, rich and tasty. We would like to thank our server Brendi and Chef Boualoy for a wonderful experience and delicious meal!"
