"Love this place. Great home style cooking and awesome service. Regardless of how busy they most often are, they provide very fast and personable service. You know if the locals frequent the place its got to be good. The owner, Peter has kept the tradition alive, that you are not just a customer, you are family. Its very rare to find a restaurant now days where the servers care enough about you to remember you. But this awesome wait staff go far and above that and after only a couple of times remember you by name and are happy to see you again. The kitchen staff are the same. They take personal care in preparing your food and they sure give portions you won't find anywhere else. I highly recommend George's Southside for a great start to a great day."

"Pleasant early Father’s Day dinner at this fine restaurant. The cocktails were excellent. We were a party of five. The lamb Mac was a group favorite; everyone enjoyed it. The house salad with goat cheese was also good. Two orders of the ribeye steak and fries were brought to our table. Perfect medium rare with excellent fries. My scallops were perfect. The lamb entree was also very good. The one thing I would like to add, apart from the excellent food was the time given to us at the table to talk and enjoy the atmosphere between drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. I was pleasantly surprised that we were not “rushed” out in any way. You don’t see that in many restaurants in the US. I will be returning, for sure"

"I recently had the pleasure of trying the ackee and saltfish sautéed with fried plantains, rice and peas, rum cake, and cola champagne at Reggae Grill. I was not disappointed! The ackee and saltfish was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The plantains were crispy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. The rice and peas were flavorful and moist. The rum cake was moist and delicious, and the cola champagne was a refreshing and bubbly accompaniment. Overall, I was very impressed with the meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend Reggae Grill to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Jamaican dining experience."

"Riblets, and Catfish was bomb, but our waitress Alyssa T needs some training on customer service! She seriously had a major case of RBF! When asked what they had for drinks, we shout out a couple names of beers and she said no we do t have those, so then we asked what did they have and she replied” Coke products” really?! Cause it just sounds like we were in search of a soda?! So then we asked her if they had an alcoholic beverage menu and she replied very flatly” No” she didn’t check on our table, we had to flag her down. We are up here from Denver expecting a nice dinner good service,, well minus the poor service. The food was good. The other staff looked just as displeased to be working here just as our waitress. The only person who greeted us with a smile was the sweet girl at the door who seated us. Wished I knew her name to give her props on truly what good Customer service truly is! Maybe y’all should consider having her train the wait staff!"

"good food, really nice and competent service and 24 hours open?! well then! have added to my list of favorite places to stop when they thru columbia sc! a few details to eat: I have tried the new dill burger. I can't decide if I love it or hate it! I'll have to try it out a few more times for the sake of research! the ice cream! I have a combo and asked for ice cream as a drink, so I guess this is their version of the normal ice cream. ok most sonics near where I live, the ice cream is in the ground coffee with a lot of sweet milk in it. not this one! I don't know what they did differently, or if they accidentally gave me an ice cream concoction, but that was delicious! extra thick and creamy, (for coffee anyway! not like a milkshake texture thick), with an almost icy frozen feeling. full taste, not too sweet, I mean, that was just right! I would only stop here for this ice-cream! and while I had not heard of a 24 hr sonic, it makes my little bit eulenherz happy to know that there is such a thing! this can be a regular stop when they return from events to home!"

"they must play one or the one who accepts the app. jd must be released. he is incredibly rude for the customers and carries an air of superiority that is badly laid. there is no reason to have closed the dining room for pickup orders. the tables are clearly closed, and the table area would not be difficult to lock this location has not set up a curb-side option. I understand that this is missing from employees who make eating in a problem, and that is good, but at least have companies updating the website only offer drive-thru pick-up."
