"This place was very highly recommended by my husband other friends who have eaten here before multiple times. Saturday afternoon we decide to stop by for lunch buffet. I walk into what felt like chaos, no host to welcome guests, no signage to selecting your own seating, just random people(customers) standing in a line which then i realized is the line to grab your plate for the buffet. As Im getting my plate a elderly customer asks me where is the naan? How should i know, it was my first time there and why is he asking me! After i get my few selected favorite curries and sit down at our own selected seating, I see there is no tray of naan at the buffet to pick from. Ok, so my guess is you have to specifically order it. Never at any buffet or resturant have i ever been so lost and confused. Maybe this is how a typical dhaba is in india which i can understand but this is America, where we clearly have standards. As I start to eat i notice the Saag Paneer tastes different, maybe its cooked differently than what im used to, i have my husband taste it and he confirms its spoiled-someone will get sick off of that he says. No wonder the buffet tray was full of untouched Saag Paneer but hasnt anyone else spoken up about this. Then comes a basket of fresh naan thrown on our table. Before i realized what just happened the lady leaves without acknowledging us or asking if we would like to order anything not at the buffet. I didnt even get a chance to tell about the spoiled Saag Paneer. So okay fine whatever, then comes the dhal which tasted like dirt. Rest of the meal was great, no complaints there. So besides the bad service but decent food comes the pit stop to the rest room!!! And Oh My God, was it nasty! Very old, unkept, not cared for, dirty pure nasty-ness. Of course my first thought is, if the bathroom looks like then what does the kitchen look like? There I leave with toilet paper stuck to the bottom of my shoe and feeling like i need a shower. I do not understand how or why this restaurant is so praised. Restaurant needs an upgrade, you can just tell the owners have more than enough money now since its been around for so long that they just dont care anymore."
