"This place is the very definition of meh. The Pine Grove used to be great, but now the glory days are gone. My wife and I went last night, and other than the charming atmosphere and amazing sauerbraten, there's nothing here to rave about, especially for the price. The $60 steak was cooked properly, but was like cutting through a shoe, and the absence of all German beers, on a Saturday night, was just silly. The strudel was okay, again, just meh, but it comes loaded with raisins and walnuts. That might be your cup of tea, but it wasn't ours, and we weren't told beforehand. Not the end of the world, just unexpectedly chewy. So if you've got a time machine, go back 20 years to checkout the PGI, otherwise there's no sense ruining your memories of it."
