"I was excited to come here because of a reel that severely overhyped the restaurant. Sadly, the restaurant did not live up to expectations. Food was mediocre. We came during their buffet hours and decided to go for the buffet with the additional order of the chicken lollipops and mango lassi. The buffet food did not taste fresh and I feel like it cheapened the restaurant dramatically considering it was very impactful walking in with their cool entrance. Additionally, the mango lassi was not as advertised on the reel. I asked about it and showed the reel to a waiter and the waiter literally told me they don’t typically serve it like that. So in other words, we got catfished by this restaurant…? Anyway, if you come, order from the menu and avoid the buffet. The chicken lollipops, while not spectacular, came out piping hot and seemed fresh. The buffet was barely warm and did not have a lot of options. When you order the buffet, you get naan included, which came nice and warm. The only pro for me. Service was also not that great. They did not do a good job clearing the plates despite many waiters lingering around. We had to request them to clear the plates regularly and a neighboring table had to do the same. Jersey City had better Indian takeout than our dine-in experience with this restaurant, in my honest opinion. My advice is to make sure the restaurant food quality and service match the ambiance. The restaurant was pretty and modern but everything else was subpar. Also that reel really set us up for disappointment…"

"My wife and I are so glad we went with Apple Street for our little backyard wedding. The lower line the food was amazing. We live in NY and when we plan our wedding on the shores, we were a little worried that our catering would be just the standard Italian catering you can find here quite simply. Instead we hoped for seasonal products, healthy but tasty. Apple Street has surpassed everything we wanted. Everything that was served was super fresh, but also tasteful. We have Goat Cheese gougeres, Buffalo Chicken Meatballs, Cale Caesar Salad, Watermelon Jicama Salat, Grilled Chicken, Salsa Salsa salmon, Seasonal Vegetables and a Summerpasta. Just to be clear, every single dish was delicious, but I would like to observe some standouts. For appetizers all always talked about the buffalo chicken meatballs. They were so delicious when the groom I had like six. The caesar salad had these amazingly roasted tomatoes and parm Crisps and the watermelon Jicama salad was super refreshing. After all, the salmon with apricots was so delicious! Since we had family style and we had so much food I thought that the salmon could be a little overdue, but it was cooked for perfection, melted in the mouth and the apricot salsa was unreal. Okay, finally a note about the staff. The staff was professional, incredibly courteous and super friendly. We had 1 chef, 2 servers and Sara as our Maitre d. I should note, 4 weeks before our event we decided to double our wedding size (this year was tough) and Apple Street was incredibly accommodating. Sara worked with us to make sure that our ceremony was set up to change the reception, furniture, tables and additional decoration. When we came back to the reception area, we were blown away, how amazing everything looked. Despite the fact that my wife and I were everywhere this day (it was our wedding finally) and Sara and we had just talked about the phone, Sara and her team could help us to draw together an amazing event. If you want fresh and tasty agriturismo to the table catering, don't look further! That's the team you want."

"One of the best restaurants I visited in Monmouth County. The outside is very inconvenient, but as soon as you walk away in the aesthetics of this picturesque romantic restaurant. The food was not disappointed. We tried the fried goat cheese with homemade fig jam and it was the most decadent what I had the pleasure of eating. We also have the Mediterranean nachos and the person who decided to come with this combination of flavors deserves an award. The appetizers were also very generous when we got our entrees that we were filled. What impressed me is the Kabob plate that the table ordered next to us, because you did not do anything beautiful by Kabobs, but the presentation of the Kabobs has blown us away. The dessert was unbelievable, they transformed normal baklava and you could taste the spices and combine with the candied orange peeling it increased to a new level. Also the chocolate goose pecan tart was heavenly. I don't like coffee, but the Greek coffee was so perfect that it was excellent. It is also impressive that this is the kind of place that you can go for a nice cheap lunch or dinner of something simple like a well-made gyro or lamb burger or you can lure on some of the pricier that are worth the money. Really a place that most people can enjoy with different budgets. The fact that this place is Byob on the very fabulous cake, that is this hidden jewel of a restaurant. Will go back to try again desserts with something bourbon, because it would be very nice couple."
