"This is a hard criticism to write because it is a lot based on a situation that many restaurants have: namely economical waiting. I usually appreciate my steakhouses on duty and in this case it was a little out of that time. Unnecessary waiting at the door (which does not wait for the numbers that wait as waiting staff sauntered from table to table, and busing table was literally made one-handed (we have all seen that these teenagers work that obviously do not want to be there. In addition to the service, the portion sizes were large and the ribbed eye had a beautiful viewer and was maybe 2 minutes about what I liked. The woman had a taco salad that she said tasted as if they smashed a hamburger patty to build it. It was pretty big for the cost. As I take the previous reviews, it seems like Trail Rider's either gets it really big time or is gone. Hopefully, they can get it all up and keep the little town."

"We went to Lew last night. Party of 7. Excellent service, host was friendly, sat immediately on a moderately busy Thursday night. The waitress was very attentive and our food was served within 20-25 minutes. Food quality vs price was 2 1/2 stars. Understand we pay for the view etc.... but if Trail Riders has better tasting food than this setup it does not look good for the business. Typical golf courses food. I'd go back, too."

"The people were very sweet and the food is not bad but it's not the best. Why do some restraints put rice and peas in their rice? I didn't grow up eating rice this way and for me it was not good. My plate although was atoo good lacked in presentation. It did not look appealing. The carne guisada was good but the enchiladas were lacking in flavor. The tortillas were good. Overall I think it could use improvement on their food presentation and flavors. I'm willing to give them another try."

"Came and ordered some food through one of the spots. They brought my food out and gave it to me, took my card and came back and said the machines weren’t working and asked if I had cash. I did not have cash and was in a hurry. The man offered to go back inside and have one of the other workers restart the machines to see if that could fix the issue with not being able to take cards. The man came back and told me “she’s not going to restart the machines I have to take your food back”. I’m beyond dumbfounded at the laziness and lack of customer service. My food was literally taken away from me because the worker inside didn’t “feel” like restarting the machines. Absolutely terrible way to turn someone without offering any solutions."

"possessed by two Sawers often and finally in. Now, we're going to show ourselves we're not stopping earlier. I had the pleasure of trying the catfish and the shrimp plate. Both very good. I also ate the baked beans, Coleslaw, Cornbread and Cancer Étouffée. They were all very good. Portion size we are good for the price. I also have the ugly pancake, but I'll save it later because I'm still stuffed out of my late lunch. I'll report to the pancake. The staff there is very friendly. They are friendly, patient and accommodating. The facility looks clean and tidy, I can't wait to go back to try her grill. I would recommend this place for anyone driving from Floresville. Just early because they sell it."

"Drive through times are incredibly long. We've given this new Burger King a few shots, but we end up waiting in line at least 45 mins each time. They never include the condiments we ask for. If you decide to order inside instead, you might get locked in. They lock the doors extra early, and you'll have to hunt down a manager to unlock it and let you out. To their credit, the food is good. It's better than most Burger Kings I've been to. They just need to get this place underbetter management. This is a brand new restaurant, so we'll try again in a few months and I'll update if it improves."
