"Have seen and heard of this restaurant through word of mouth and social media. Decided to give it a try since the family and I were in the area for the first in a while as we usually like to stay north in the broward Fort Lauderdale eateries. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza on 8th street so not that big but ok. We arrived and were told the wait would be about 35-40 minutes but they will call when ready so not bad. The positive our table was ready in 25 which was a great start. The menus are a little funky as they have this holographic look to it which is nice but very hard to read. As our server arrived she introduced herself and asked if our first time we stated yes and gave us the run through. We ordered the manchego croquettes with guava sauce and they were very tasty no complaints. When the server returned to take our order she looked displeased because we ordered something small and she kept pushing the bigger platter saying it 's not enough meat with what we ordered. We told her this is what we would like and she parted ways. When our food arrived it was incorrect. We ordered well done churrasco for one meal and they brought it incorrect as medium and regular fries not truffle. They took the plate back and brought it incorrectly a second time and finally the third it was corrected but not without seeing the displeasure in our servers face as if we were doing her a disservice. After all was said and done 75 dollars was really not worth a meal there. The hype is brought up by the locals who frequent it but it is nothing to write home about. Would I visit again probably not. It 's nothing that can 't be found at Texas de Brazil or a Fogo de Chao. You can even go to maybe a Los RANCHOS and get a better churrasco."

"The experience was so bad that I don't know where to start. Since we arrived, no one welcomes you, they brought us the menu and they didn't even add water. We had to call the waiter because he never noticed that we had been waiting for a while for our order to be taken. I arrive and reluctantly take the order without asking what we would like or giving any suggestions from the menu. We ordered a barbecue for 2 and tongue with vinaigrette, the truth is that the food is the only redeeming feature of the experience, well served and with good flavor. The grill never came with lemon for the achuras, any River Plate native knows that chinchulines and gizzards without lemon taste like nothing. We had to ask for ketchup and mayo for the fries since they neither offered it nor brought it. The water was conspicuous by its absence throughout the dinner. We were waiting for the bill, for which I had to call a waitress again, because after taking the order we didn't see him again. How sad to go with a gringo friend and want to show him Uruguayan hospitality, to meet people who neither have the vocation for service, nor the slightest idea of what customer service is, I hope the owner sees the cameras and can see the times that we were ignored throughout dinner. Obviously we asked a manager and the answer was that there was no one responsible, that's when I understood why the place with only 3 tables gave such deplorable service. There is no one who takes care of the clients and the service, as advice for the owner, change your staff with people who want to work, make money and grow your business. The tip is something that is given by the service, and not found here. Sad that a place with my country's flag on the door is so poorly attended"

"Made reservations at Marion Miami for a birthday dinner. Our reservation was for 10:30 pm, we valet parked our vehicle for $25.00 and walked in, the hostess greeted us warmly and advised that the remainder of the party would need to be there before they sat us. I ordered a drink at the bar and this was at about 10:25. The remainder of my party arrived at 10:35 and they sat us down at 10:46 pm, our waiter stopped by our table at 10:46 pm and said he would be with us shortly. At 10:55 pm the waiter took our appetizer menu then grabbed the menus and stated that he was taking them so we can eat comfortably. At 11:05 pm the valet attendant brought our keys back which was an indication that something was wrong because the venue should have been open until 3:00 am. At 11:15 pm the waiter came back and started to take our dinner menu and while taking the dinner order who I would assume was the chef angrily called the waiter over and spoke to him while pointing back at the table and stormed off. At 11:25 the waiter returned to the table with the hostess and announced the kitchen closed at 11:00 pm and that if we wanted to they could give us meat and the only side available was fries and the chef had left the building. I flew in from Houston, TX to celebrate with friends and family in Miami, FL. Had I known that I would experience the level of disrespect covered with racial profiling I would never have even made the reservation. Marion Miami is in Brickell, located essentially in Miami, FL which is considered a melting pot of diversity with people from all over the world crossing paths. If I can say something it would be Marion’s handling of our reservation wasn’t just subpar; it was an overt betrayal of trust, warranting public disclosure and severe scrutiny. In an industry where reputation is currency, Marion’s actions served as a flagrant devaluation of its own brand after what we witnessed from the server, chef and hostess. To prospective patrons contemplating a visit, I strongly advise proceeding with extreme caution. IT IS 2023 and although in Miami, FL the racial undertones were extremely prevalent."
