"The service at the restaurant was excellent, however, the food quality was average. The bread on the sandwiches seemed stale and the fish sandwiches had a strong fishy taste. We ordered tea sandwiches and small pastries for four people, but left feeling hungry. In addition to a required tip, there was also a service charge that I was not informed of. This establishment is one of the few places on Long Island that offers afternoon tea, but I expected better from the GC Hotel. Next time, I will go to New York City instead."
