"I admit I am not an expert in Indian cuisine. But my wife and I had a wonderful meal at Shere-E-Punjab. The staff was very friendly. The space is modern but a bit worn. The food is the star, though. We started with vegetable samosas, which were flavorful and came with two accompaniments (sorry, don't know what they're called, but they were delicious). My wife ordered malai kofta, which are vegetable balls, and she loved them. I tried a tandoori mixed grill, which was a special with chicken, salmon and shrimp. It was served with onions on a sizzling cast-iron plate (like Indian fajitas), and the meat was full of flavor and very tender (I've had dry tandoori chicken other places). The garlic naan was great, too. This restaurant is a little hard to find at the back end of a strip mall, but it's definitely worth locating."
