"There are no accidents. Everything happens for a reason. Picture a diner just a minute from Teterboro airport and 8 miles from Manhattan. Huge delicious portions with the amazing, super sweet and creative chef Julio asking you what you would like as a side dish and how you want your sandwich or burger or omelette. He then suggests this absolutely stellar side of fried rice with mushrooms and broccoli in this special sauce. OMG photo). Side more like an entree. It gets better. Your host/server/owner is John, who is blind. God blesses us with us gifts and experiences in many, many ways. John is one extraordinary blessing. He is the one of the sharpest, funniest, quickest, kindest, warmest and aware human beings and multitaskers I have met. He greets the customers, picks up menus, jokes with everyone wicked sense of humor btw), takes orders mentally, relays them verbatim to Julio, serves them, runs the cc machine, operates the cash register, takes a FedEx delivery from the awesome driver Fred; refills my strong and good mug of coffee, gets me a can of Pepsi and then requests his youngest son Michael to please get the dressing from the kitchen. By the way, this single parent John has raised three amazing boys. The eldest just graduated from Harvard and the youngest Michael starts college in a few weeks. When there is so much love and care, the entrees and the dishes that are prepared by Julio and Mom John's lovely Greek mother) naturally taste amazing. The portions are huge. Bring your appetite. Meet the regulars who are a blast. Please peruse the latest menu via the two photos uploaded just now. Check out the lovely veggie omelette, the heavenly home fries, the tasty tuna sandwich, the impossible burger, the super fried rice, the Greek omelettes and the French toast n bacon. Pancakes, oh yeah! Hungry? Meet me at the diner at 5:45 am before my weekly flight. My treat. I am not joking. Message me via Yelp. To my dear Yelp friends from NJ and all their friends Jennifer D, Bill M, Florence, Denise and Christian love to meet all of you here. Let's do this per our schedules. You really have to experience this atmosphere of love, kindness and fun. What a beautiful reminder in our crazy world. The diner opens at 5:30 am and closes at 8:30 pm on weekdays, a bit earlier on the weekend."
