"We don't think we'll be visiting Phoenician again. The past few times we've eaten there, our food has always been cold or just slightly warm, and we didn't want to pose another problem to our kind waitress who was overloaded with work this past Mother's Day. I could understand if this just happened on a crowded special occasion like the Mother's Day holiday, but we find it's happened to us at every visit. Other drawbacks....the jumbo shrimp were more like medium size, and they only offered Baked Alaska as the dessert. Excuse me? Nothing chocolate on Mother's Day? The visit was certainly not worth what we paid for a family of 4."

"Just started going there even though I lived pretty close to it all these years! they finally got karaoke, and trivia, on Tuesdays and Thursdays AWESOME!!!! Plenty of TVs a good sports bar!! The food is great! Friendly staff and bartenders!! the food and drinks are very well priced.. the age group is more of a younger crowd but you will feel right at home no matter your age. definitely recommended!!!"

"I have dined at this restaurant for many years by myself/with my family and with friends….I have never I had much problem with the service besides occasional inattentiveness like tonight only 3 of our 8 people were asked what they wanted for drinks before our waitress scurried off, we asked for duck sauce but none was brought and we had to go to the front and grab our own, our bill was brought to us not legible and unable to be deciphered and not to mention scribbled on the back of a placemat ripped in half . I want to stress that I am a good tipper EVERYWHERE I go REGARDLESS of the service I get. I do my best to be respectful and to leave the establishment as tidy as I can before we leave. I’ll pick up food off the floor, stack cups and plates and silverware so it’s easy to carry to the dish room , use manners and treat my servers with understanding and respect.Tonights service wasn’t anything special by any means but I also wouldn’t say was horrible either. We took my father out for a late Father’s Day dinner and my tab came to 100 and change. I put 108 on my card I know it’s a weird dollar amount but the 8 would have brought my bank account to an even amount left in that account and I planned to leave more of a tip in cash . I had two dollars in 1’s and a couple 50’sbin my purse that I was heading to the counter to ask if they could break. Before heading to the counter I was getting my two year old son situated and was encouraging him to cleanup the few food scraps he dropped on the table while eating . Before I could stand up to go to the counter to break a larger bill our waitress came over and loudly questioned the 8 I was adding to the 100 tab on my card. ‘ you are only leaving me 8?’ I said ‘ that’s what I’m putting on my card I’m working on the rest’. She said ‘ you owe me 15-20% not 8’ I said’ I don’t mean to be disrespectful but it is very rude to question someone’s tip and I am working on change…’ she cut me off and continued even louder saying ‘ you need to pay 15% to 20% on the bill’ and pushed the receipt back across table with a pen placing it infront of me.I felt embarrassed worrying others were over hearing her questioning my tip and not understanding I had every intention to leave more but in cash. She continued and said if I wasn’t going to tip I shouldn’t be eating there and continued to hastily say things I couldn’t make out to the point my father interjected and said ‘ woah woah woah I think that’s enough!’ I may have been wrong here and for this I apologize, but I pushed the receipt back across the table and told her I was now satisfied only leaving an 8 tip and that I had planned to leave at least %20 which would have been in cash, that it’s very rude to not only question a persons tip but to do so in the demanding manner she was publicly and that I was happy to take my business elsewhere in the future…. I then gathered my things and walked out. Once in the parking lot my parents told me a similar situation had happened to them a few times prior. Dining there. Long story short my mom paid her bill using a card and my dad went up to the counter to break a larger bil. the waitress came over and questioned why she wasn’t tipping and was not quiet about it drawing attention to the table . My mom explained my dad was getting change and the waitress made a comment that when my dad Came back the tip should be At least 15-20%."

"I took my daughter out for breakfast today to a cute little hidden gem called The Periwinkle cafe What a delicious meal! Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned with very generous portions. I’ll list our orders below: Periwinkle special: Two eggs (any style , choice of 3 meats, home Fries or baked beans, choice of toast 1 pancake or one slice of French toast I got my eggs over easy, grilled English muffin, home fries, a pancake, double bacon and grilled Portuguese chourico. Everything was very tasty! Loved how crispy/crunchy both the English muffin and bacon were. But the standouts were definitely the chourico and the home fries. Both were fantastic.. great flavor and the home fries are cooked with caramelized onions (which I love! Smoked Salmon Benedict :English muffin topped with two poached eggs, smoked salmon hollandaise sauce (comes with home fries, beans or fresh fruit on the side . My daughter said this was amazingly delicious! Perfectly poached eggs, creamy buttery hollandaise, grilled English muffins, salmon was tender with a nice Smokey flavor.. paired beautifully with the rest of the dish. The decor is nautical themed.. there are a bunch of little tables and a long bench (with pillows along the front wall. Cute, clean and cozy.. little hand written signs throughout, with one listing their muffins of the day. (I believe todays offerings were corn, blueberry and chocolate chip . Waitress was super friendly and attentive. I have to make a special mention of the prices.. it is such a good deal! Everything we got (including coffee it all only came to 25 dollars total (that’s with tax too! .. given the portion sizes and quality of food, that’s an insane bargain. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!"

"I have been eating at Joseph's for years, first at the Bradford location, and now at the downtown spot. The food and drink are always spot on: birdbath sized martinis, perfectly cooked pasts dishes, and creative specials that change weekly and always make me second guess my regular favorites. My wife loves the bolognese, and the rigatoni con salsiccia e broccolini and lobster ravioli keep me coming back. We are so happy to hear that they are rebuilding the Bradford location (scheduled 2026 opening? too, and will continue to be a top quality restaurant in the Haverhill area."

"The Good: Mr. Beast Burgers fries are consistently tasty. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, theyre always a highlight. And you cant go wrong with an ice cold bottle of Coke. The Inconsistent: Unfortunately, the quality of the burgers themselves varies too much. Sometimes the buns are stale, the chicken is dry, or the Impossible patties are soggy. The portions also seem inconsistent one order may be overflowing while another feels skimpy. The Potential: I like the idea behind Mr. Beast Burger partnering with popular YouTubers to bring their brand to the food space. And on a good day, the burgers can be great. But for this concept to really take off, they need to focus on consistency. The bun, patty and toppings need to meet a certain standard every single time. Portion sizes also need to be standardized so customers know what to expect. Overall, Mr. Beast Burger shows promise but needs to improve consistency if it wants to compete with more established burger chains. The flavors are there when everything comes together right. With some tweaks to ensure quality and uniformity, this could be a real winner. For now, it remains too hit or miss for my regular order."

"My visit wasn't very long, but I absolutely loved the PB&J wings! The new team has introduced some exciting new bites like the sho gun and mango habanero. I wasn't sure what to order when I arrived, but the staff kindly offered me samples on small tasting spoons, which helped a lot. I also tried the Cheating Waffle Fries, and everything tasted even better than I remembered."
