"It would be great if the restaurant offered a vegetarian appetizer option. Instead, we had to order spicy brussel sprouts as a starter, which were sweet, charred, and just the right amount of spicy. I wish there was less sauce so I could taste the veggies more. The only vegetarian entree available was the eggplant cannelloni, but the eggplant was thinly sliced and tough, making it less enjoyable to eat. The concept is interesting, but the eggplant should be a soft filling instead. The red snapper special with risotto was delicious, but the crawfish topping had a bad smell. Once I removed them, the dish was great. The perfectly cooked risotto was impressive. The cocktails were good, but I would like to see more options on the craft cocktail menu. The dessert, a chocolate option, tasted good but was served in a cheap-looking Mason jar on top of beautiful pottery. Our server was friendly and accommodating, as were all the employees. The decor was dark, calming, and masculine, but overall we were not impressed enough to return."
