"Although I have lived in the area for 21 years and driven by the restaurant numerous times, I only had a chance to try it recently. I called in the order for pick up. The person who took my order I assume it was one of the owners) was very friendly and easy to understand. I ordered 2 lunch specials which came with soup or salad. I had the pumpkin soup which was flavorful and not sweet like butternut squash soup can be. The portions of the entrees were generous and everything was very tasty. Almost everything is available vegetarian, and many things can be made gluten free. Will definitely be back!"

"Friendly hometown coffee shop. It can be a franchise, but it's still small town honesty. I forgot my handbag in the bathroom... went back hours later to look for her, thought everything was lost. Staff and managers kept it safe behind the counter, cash and credit cards. It won't be better than that!"

"My wife and I came here after a trip to the Bronx Zoo. The restaurant was very clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. The waitress Kyra was very helpful and attentive. During our visit, the cook came out to us and asked if it was cooked from the food to perfection-loving. We had the garlic shrimp appetizer. It was very hot and extremely tasteful. I had a salad with the house dress. Absolutely loved dressing. I had the steak that was perfectly and very tastefully cooked. It came with grilled vegetables. I have a side of fries that were beautifully spiced and very hot! All this for came extremely hot! (Who is rare nowadays) My wife had the Chicken Francaise with one side of Pasta and she loved it too. We finished with the peanut butter lava cake, which was the perfect end to a great meal. We have written this on our timelines and will definitely stop on our day trips to AC, NY, etc. and will definitely recommend this to friends. Finally, the price was not expensive at all. "The food I had was delicious and satisfying. Generous portions and enough for another meal. I'm not into very spicy foods, so I was worried that Thai food would be too hot, but you can order to your liking. If you haven't tried this before, make a point of visiting and ask the owner for recommendations. The sweet thai sausage is so good, and the noodle dishes with chicken or shrimp was so tasty."

"Grotto Pizza was recommended by Charlie Angel of the Iron Core Band, who grew up with this pizzeria. So with the NJ Pizza Hunter's app we had to add this place to our list in Sussex County. This is an above-average slice that really meets all levels of sauce, crust and cheese. It was solid throughout, but not one aspect took over the pane to take it over the top. The service was great, people were nice and this door did not stop opening for pickup. After the photos on the wall, they have made and served pizza for a really long time. It seems to be one of the best in the area, but the pizza tour continues. Big job Grotto."

"Very Big Pizzeria with a lot of seating. I am sure they have a goid business in Stanhope with the catering..The Pizza.. A good slice for a local pizzeria that seemed to be your standard strip mall slice. Did not taste much sauce, the cheese was plentiful and took over the slice. The crust was ok. Looked like they offered a variety of different slices and the people were very nice. Compared to the rest of NJ at this point, the pizza is middle of the road. We will see where they end up on the Pizza Hunters App Ratings."

"Unique Garlic Knots. They have all sorts of garlic knots, I’ve tried quite a few and they’re definitely the winner here. Some of the specialty pizzas are pretty good , most everything else is average Italian fare. Not really any dining available other than like 2 tables to eat a slice at. Don’t believe the time they tell you for food. If they tell you 30 mins give them atleast 50 mins. Don’t show up early. You will wait. If they were called just knots I think they’d do fine"

"Fantastic local BBQ! We ordered a large family platter along with a few other items. The wings and ribs were outstanding (definitely 5 stars for the ribs alone)! The mac and cheese and potato salad were clearly homemade and delicious. The coleslaw was solid, the pulled pork was good, and the hotdogs were impressive. The dough on the onion rings was tasty. Although the brisket was delayed and the burgers took a bit longer, it was not a major issue. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it; it's much better than other BBQ spots in the area and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be ordering again!"
