"Oh how sad. We are regulars, but haven't been in about 2months. Alex (who is amazing)was on vacation. Maybe the chef was as well. I can't remember when I have had a worse meal. From the beginning with the waitress who was sweet and meant well calling us all lovey! Really?? The service was awful and it was a Tuesday evening, the place was empty. Now, about the food. Diner quality. There were 4 of us. We all had different appetizers and entrees. Pasta tasted like it was out of a can, salad dressing was also tasting bottled, steak quality was really poor and halibut was also not good. Everything was terribly over salted. Not one of us had more than 2 bites. We did have 3 drinks and 2 bottles of wine (which was a waste because we didn't eat). When we complained, they offered to re do everything. After waiting too long to be served, we declined to have more less than mediocre food again. We obviously complained and the Alex stand in manager took one entree off the bill. With that being said the bill was still $580. Sorry Alex, we think you are wonderful, but Jonathan's is off our list. I've never written a bad review of a restaurant, but this was disturbing."
