"Gave this place one more chance. Spent $17 for a BLT ranch thickburger and the BLT ranch hand-breaded chicken sandwich. Totally not worth the money, ended up getting more food somewhere else cause we were still hungry. Very false advertising... you'll be disappointed at the size and quality of ingredients. "I found this place on Yelp and I loved it. I was craving deli style sandwiches and this place was a hit. My kids shared a wiener and potatoes and I got a ham with macaroni salad and hubby got the reuben. We also shopped in the store side of the restaurant and we got chips and peach streusel and apple streusel and cheesecake and I got extra pickles. It's cute and clean and family owned. I love that they have a store attached. I am telling everyone who will listen to me that they need tocome check this place out."

"I'm giving them three stars because the food is good however they are really dropping the ball on everything else. They need to understand the concept of timing the food so that people can finish their salads and appetizers and clear the table before the food comes out. my food got cold before I could get to it following salad/appetizer, and there was no more room on the table to put it all. They should be full on Saturday night but they were not because although the food is good, they would do better to invest extra on the dining experience, at least linen napkins. For the price Id like to see table clothes and candles. This is not a fast food joint, why are they giving paper napkins and salad dressing in to-go plastic containers??? That really takes away the charm of going for an Italian dining experience which is what they should strive for. What's next plastic utensils? Ok if you are dead set on paper napkins, make them the nice large heavy premium kind. Lastly the desserts are overpriced but everything else seems to be in line price wise, but at 16 to $25 Id like a little atmosphere and watch business grow. Get the date-night people in there too! UPDATE I forgot to add this time I noticed a difference in the bruschetta. Before it's been more finely chopped with more tomatoes, oil, garlic, more basil. It's one of the best things on the menu but not this time. Once you get something right don't change it."

"I always love going to Black Bear Diner after rediscovering this restaurant chain. Black Bear Diner is always so cheap and comforting. Surprisingly, the food is pretty good at that value. I usually spend about $15 per person here and always leave feeling satisfied. I recommend the chicken pot pie which is an amazing value for the amount of food you get. Also I recommend the weekend only prime rib, although slightly more expensive, about $20, is very tasty and well cooked."

"Very very good place in Brea, CA for Japanese Handrolls????????. I try their scallop roll and blue crab roll. Both tasted great. The only draw back now is chicken Karaage. "Came in on a Sunday morning around 9:30, not much parking as there are several food places in the same strip of businesses. But, most people are grabbing coffee and leaving so there were spots available. The shop was clean and inviting. There are about 7 low tables and 1 high table, plenty of seating. I ordered a butterscotch cold brew and breakfast burrito with ham. The staff were are very nice. Coffee was tasty, burrito was ok, needed less egg more tots. I will definitely return if I'm in the area."

"Really impressed. I came to this small restaurant by accident, but as soon as I saw that it was a German deli I had to try it. I was scared that they didn't take card but thankfully they did. The price was modest I paid around $7 for the sandwich which was delicious! I ordered a turkey sandwich with muenster cheese, it came with the side of potato salad and dill pickle. Sadly I'm not a fan of pickles, but that potato salad was delicious! The sandwich was perfect the right amount of mayonnaise and mustard. They are not stingy bout the meat or cheese (which is a big plus in my book).The staff was very friendly and the place was clean as well. I liked the fact that it had that mom and pop feel. I was amazed at the different kinds of bier they had. At checkout, I bought one of the pastries on display, it was a sort of Quarkstollen that had raisins and nuts in it. All in all this place was delicious, service was great, and I'm definitely coming back with company."

"Very good food and excellent service, we went there and there were few tables. A large table server told us exactly how much time it will take to get the food out what is very nice, some of the participants take 40 minutes. My order forgot shrimp. but as soon as I said, they apologised and brought the freshly cooked missing shrimps. So great job in troubleshooting"

"Great place to have some fresh food on the farm. This is my second time here. So far I had the California BLT that was great. Today I have the 4pc plates of fish and chips that come with salad. Love the frits they are very crunchy and soft inside, even if they get cold they are still crunchy love them, the fish is fantastic as well as very crispy yum. Staff are very nice and helpful. Requisites to the pan forget the cooks for them cook our food"

"Unfortunately our experience at this place was not as we expected to be .. I had order a Azada plate it took 40 minutes for the waitress to let us know that.. there was no Azada.. so I ended asking for chicken fajitas and when my order came to the table was pollo Azado ?‍.... then we found out that reason why everything was a mess was because they were short on cooks .. and one of the waitress had to jump in to kitchen to help the cooks.. overall our experience was really bad... I just hope that who ever is in charge resolves this issues or else they're gonna continue loosing customers."

"I called on the phone and ordered cheese Raviolli party tray and I asked for a pink sauce. The manager said it 's $10 extra for a pink sauce. It was $60+ plus $10 pink sauce , total came up to $79.02. She read my order on the phone and she said with Alfredo sauce and I corrected, pink sauce . She said it 's Alfredo sauce mixed with marinara. And I said okay, however you guys make it but as long as it 's pink sauce my daughter always order it that way when we used to eat there . We picked up my order and went straight to the party only to find out it 's not what I ordered when we arrived at the party. She gave me cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce instead. I called them and I spoke to another employee. She passed the phone to another female which apparently she said she 's the manager and she said she was the one I spoke to on the phone when I placed my order. She insisted that she repeated my order and that I asked for Alfredo sauce Basically insinuating that I 'm lying! . If that is true as she claimed, then why am I being charged extra $10 for a pink sauce? Mind you, I have a witness. My boyfriend was with me and heard what I said when I placed the order. The cheese Raviolli wasn 't good either! There were still a lot of left overs from the party. For the price I paid and messing up my order, overall it 's a waste of money!We used to come here as a regular customer La Habra Branch but we stopped coming here coz the quality of their food is going downhill. I thought I would give it another try for pick up convenience since the party was near to this location, but it was a BIG mistake! Now they will lose my business for good! Bad customer service doesn 't deserve second chances! I will tell my friends and family not to come to this place!"
