"Coming from Arkansas, traveling strongly and costly, we were delighted to try the ?#1 fine restaurant in the USA?. This review is by TripAdvisor, so sure no James Beard, but interesting no less. We ordered a few bottles of wine from a decent, good price list. The Poke appetizer was the star of the show. The scallops were good, but rich. The short rib was good. The Dessert sampler is a great idea because we could not decide that the lime cake was the best of the four (peanut butter, lava cake and berry cake were the other three we have). Our waitress was beautiful, attentive and very informative. The decor is a bit dated beach y themed.. it was beautiful, white tablecloth, but borders on the edge of the fine dining and chess. I would have expected more for ?#1 in the USA?. That was the most beautiful place where we ate in Lahaina. Was it the best we ever eat? No. The food was very solid. Was the service?#1? But they were great. Dinner was the nicest? we had in Lahaina and would come back when in town. I'm gonna dream about the Poke."
