"It's not a tex/mex place! It is authentic Mexican food and probably the best restaurant for a smaller town!! It's our place to eat if we don't want to go to town. Her salsa is the hands down, the best I ever had and her burritos!!!!! Pretty and corrosive! The entire staff is friendly and I love the atmosphere. I enjoy listening to the chefs and waiters who play with the music in the background. It is the most friendly atmosphere in the whole area! And it's okay if you don't speak Spanish or understand. They have bilingual staff who help each other. It's more than just a restaurant, they make you feel at home. It's on my top 5 favorite restaurants list. I tried the majority of things on their menu, and I still have to be disappointed."

"I was traveling and staying overnight at the hotel next to Swackhammer's, so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was delicious at a reasonable price. My chicken fried steak was tender and perfectly breaded. The white gravy was some of the best I've ever had. The sweet tea was freshly brewed and I couldn't get enough! I highly suggest trying out this restaurant for dinner."

"The amount of working menu boards this location has I can count on one hand. And to by pass that problem we use the app. But there’s no identifying markers on the stalls so that’s a hassle too. "This place was a new try and the minute we came in the door we were greeted and seated. We ordered an app and got it in less than 5 minutes, along with our drink. Ordered a chicken fried steak, chicken Alfredo, and the fish lovers platter. I can’t say the chicken Alfredo was the best, but the chicken fried steak was delicious. Crunchy, huge, perfectly battered. The fish lovers was Incredible. The hush puppies are made with jalapeños and are delicious. The manager came over and made sure everything was as ordered. Waitress was very attentive and very helpful with recommendations. And for the dessert, the brownie, cheesecake, and turtle cheesecake were the absolute shiiiiiznit. Please try this."
