"The other night I had another fantastic pizza from Clara and Rays in Lexington! Their cheese pizza is one of the best I have had. They toss the dough, homemake their tomato sauces and use the finest ingredients they can find. Their cheese is so good and their toppings are great also. My wife loves their outstanding eggplant parmigiana and will begrudgingly let me taste it. Tastes Great!! They are a little pricier than some but have the quality, plus, if you ask, they have a discount card that gives you back 10% of what you spent for you next order!"

"Friendly service, very rude check out, tasty food. Went here with my family for a Mother’s Day brunch. Food was tasty and well prepared, and served well, substitutions were no problem as I have a family member who has multiple dietary issues and has a severely restricted diet. Service was friendly, prompt even though the server was very busy. We all really enjoyed our meals and had a fun time together. However the young woman running the checkout was extremely rude. She complained about splitting the check. She asked me why I didn’t ask the waitress to split the check and then spoke to me as though I was beneath her and stupid simply because I was older than her. It seem to be a huge burden for her to have to deal with me, and she was surly and literally threw my receipt in my face. Everyone over 30 is not a Karen and anybody who talks to or treats another person like that should not be working in customer service. I haven’t been treated this rudely by anyone in a very long time and it makes me think less of the entire First Watch organization. I would use caution when going to this restaurant if this person is still behaving in the same way that they are, I can’t imagine that anyone else is going to come away unscathed or than anyone over 30 isn’t going to be spoken to as though they are an insubordinate moron and treated with total disrespect. I do have to compliment the server, she was extremely friendly, positive and upbeat did not complain at all about the substitutions and came back multiple times to fill our drinks without us having to ask. She was also extremely busy and my hats off to her. Also, the food was hot tasty and well prepared, so hats off to the kitchen staff as well. The three star rating I’m giving is a direct result of the teller and her behavior towards me and her behavior towards the other people she was there to serve."

"My husband and I ate here for lunch and we were very disappointed. Last time we've eaten here for a few years and the quality has really gone down since. When we first came in, the floors were sticky and our shoes were literally on the ground... our cashier seemed completely out of him and when we asked him questions about certain menu items, he basically told us that he could not answer anything. They were from half the menu points and spices. Our food tasted strange and we felt sick after dinner. In addition, I ordered a cookie and cream milkshake with additional cookies and they gave me only a separate container of cookies that were too large to put in the shake, so I had to crush them myself. We paid about $40 for our meal and honestly, you can get better quality at McDonald's for a much cheaper price. It's safe to say that we won't be back."

"One of my favorite places to go and have great beers. Friendly neighborhood vibe, kid friendly and amazing line up of beers. Stuff you won't find at corporate ran places since the independent owners call the shots. Prices are worth the 20 minute drive for me. They have a decent food menu with rotating specials along with events."

"The food was quick, the servers were attentive and the servings were huge. The restaurant seemed clean; however, they were down to one toilet in the men's room, and in all honesty... they seriously need to upgrade the chairs din the dining area. Ridiculous that they haven't fixed the rather large sinks of cushion in over a year. Siiigh... Three stars because of the chairs. Otherwise, considering the area, it's really not bad to dine. So 3 1/2 to 4 stars."

"We took the trip to Nick's because of all the reviews of being one of the best burgers around here, and were not disappointed. It was a Saturday lunchtime and the place was busy, as expected. Wait time was about 20 mins for food. I had a double cheeseburger and my wife a single, together with fries. Burgers were tasty and juicy, and earned their spot as one.of the best in the area. A nice touch was the friendly guy taking the orders (manager/owner who made the effort to continually ask the customers if they had everything, were ok with the food, and thanked us for coming, even though he was very busy. We'll be back."

"I eat at Dusina's at least once a week. Working in Welcome means overtime I've eaten just about everywhere in the immediate area, and Dusina's is my top pick for lunch. The staff have always been friendly, the food is excellent, and the wait time is short. The only two cons to note are parking can be difficult, and it's only open wed-sat. The first con is understandable simply because of the size of land, so the lot fills fast. The second con is only a negative because of how much I enjoy eating here. But I understand the spacing out of their workweek too. It's a lot of folks to feed. If you find yourself in the area on one of the open days, you should absolutely try Dusina's. Their ribeye steak sub is universally praised around here, and for good reason. I regularly get the fried chicken salad, which is in my opinion, the best in this area. Their gluten free pizza crust is also excellent, and genuinely tastes as good as flour."

"The Romanian pastrami is so good, I started planning my Lexington dentist appointments for Thursday morning before lunch to swing from Neillios on the way out. It is thick cut like brisket and a little sweet like maple ham. The whole food is fresh, and many possibilities. Had a great catering experience a few years ago."

"Lexington is a city of good eating. Good restaurants everywhere. But this is different. Hands down the best barbecue this side of Nashville. Polite helpful service, comfortable down to earth atmosphere, but the very best BBQ I've *ever had. I can't believe it took me this long to eat here. I frequently take my little Yorkie to Feeders Pet Supply to wash him and always meant to stop in City Barbeque. "Best EATERY in LEXINGTON! I like this restaurant best in town. I have eaten more than 20 times over a year here, and it was ON POINT every time. 5/5??????????? Quality ingredients, friendly staff and it is ALWAYS clean. There's never a single piece of rice on a table or chair when I go in. Bathrooms are clean. It's absolutely clean here. I can see the hard work and feel the gratitude of the people working here. It is an absolute pleasure to eat here. I've eaten here several times with my girlfriend, my best friend from the 5th. Great, my mother when she visited. I would bring my ex-wife and her boyfriend if I had given the chance. The food here is good. I want everybody to eat here. "I have been wanting to try the Pasta Garage for a while so I was super excited when we made the trip. Unfortunately, it wasn?t as good as expected. The service was friendly but the food was a bit lacking. I went back and forth between a 4 and 5 star since some of my critiques was personal but ultimately the food was not hot. The pasta itself was very fresh but I am a sauce person and my Ragu Alla Bolognese was under sauced and had three tiny pieces of meat. When I looked at other google pics before our visit I saw the dish and it did have more sauce than mine when it was served. My husband had the Baked Ravioli and it was a much better dish and had a great flavor. I was not a huge fan of their bread sticks because they were a bit airy for me but that is just personal preference. The portion size of both dishes was very good."

"Jeremy was a FANTASTIC server. It was our first time dining at Tonyâs, and he gave us a wonderful explanation of the menu restaurantâs history. He was attempted to us during the mail but also gave us an appropriate amount of space during our meal. We had a wonderful first experience at Tonyâs, and that is largely thanks to Jeremy (and the rest of the staff, who were also very friendly whenever we encountered them)."

"Food and service were great! My only complaint was the creepy old man sitting behind us and blowing music from his phone. *music with many profanity I may add* he crawled on one of the waiters, she did a good job with him. "Had a lovely lunch combo from here. I got a 6 inch pizza with balsamic sausage pesto and some other things. It has really nice flavor and felt pretty light for pizza. I am paired it with a tomato basil soup. The soup comes with a lovely toasted and herbed slice of bread. I did not expect the soup to be so textured. It was thick and creamy with tomato and cheese in it. I didn't think that the cheese was necessary, but it was the best tomato soup I've ever had. I would return here and make it a go to lunch option. Lastly, I could've absolutely shared this and it would've been perfect for two."

"Aw dang this place has good food! You won’t find home cooked meals like these just anywhere. This is where the locals come to get their eats! Now a few caveat emptors…. the kitchen is disorganized and poorly run so you are going to have to wait. So relax. If you are in a hurry then go to McDonalds. the place is nothing to look at, with basic tables and chairs. Don’t bring a date here or take your wife for an anniversary dinner. "A great find of a restaurant. The menu is authentic, handmade Mexican cuisine, and it is very good. The parking lot is a little small, but inside is comfortable and casual. The menus are mapped and numbered on the wall, and you can take your own drink from the cooler; Bottle opener in case down. Sit down and the waiter is pretty fast, and the food comes out quickly. There is no pressure to go. If you are ready, go to the register and pay. I really love this place and I'm so glad I found it. Then I live in another city."

"Where to start, we got take out and it was so much food! And everything was excellent!! Very nice staff and very prompt service. Would highly recommend, the brothers fajitas are wonderful and very filling. The fajita nachos with carnitas was amazing. The portion sizes are more than satisfying and the prices are fair. First time I have been to a Mexican style restaurant where the shrimp didn't immediately reek of being from frozen. While they are most likely from frozen, they are actually pretty good!"
