"we have eaten here in the past and on this trip we have eaten here twice. they need reservations as they are fully booked all the time. it can be loud as they would expect from a brasserie. we eat in the non-smoking room, this is the larger room and very picturesque. eating here is wonderful. in our first night we started with a pastis from the bar while we looked over the menu. we chose the foie gras pate, followed by the veal cordon bleu, supplemented by a red wine. everything was pretty with a decent amount of cheese in the cordon bleu. we finished with citron sorbet and calvados. for our second night we had escargot and fish soup. we followed this with moulles fries in cream sauce with lardon and a beautiful croze heritage wine. we never had anything bad here. the service is always good, and since we made our second reservation, while we were there for the first time, they worked most difficult to find us a table at a pleasant time. again they are full. the weeping list is quite good, with bottles in different areas, but many are expensive. the table next to us celebrated her jubilee and the table was painted with rose leaves. we thought that would be a nice note if they could get a reservation, they don't miss this restaurant."
