"A visit to the coast is simply not complete without a stop at The Winery at Manzanita. I consider myself to be a bit of a savant when it comes to all things food, wine, and dogs. My first time here, I quickly fell in love with the friendly knowledgeable staff, coastal ambience, beautifully crafted wines, and of course Pinot the black lab himself! Wine: The menu features a wide variety of whites reds, with definitely something for everyone . My favorites are the Blanc De Noir, Pinot Noir Rosé, Pinot Gris, Syrah, Merlot. Start with a flight and go from there. The grapes and grown locally in the PNW and processed right at the winery. Good things come in small batches : Food: Charcuterie on point- Rogue River Blue, Mt Tam, and Olympia Provisions... seriously doesn 't get better than that. Do not miss out on the truffle popcorn. Ambience: It 's 3 blocks from the water. Sunset views. Dogs, friendly humans, fire pits, and a big awning for those gloomy coastal days. Doesn 't get better. Price: I 'm a firm believer in You get what you pay for. This wine is the real deal you can taste the difference. All that being said, I find the glass bottle prices to be fair. Can 't wait till we go back!"
