"For hotel food, this was pretty tasty. We were here for one of The Doctor's IEEE meetings. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the hotel with a lovely view of the ocean. There is inside dining as well as the ability to dine on their deck.We actually ate here for most of the time simply because we didn't want to rent a car and go anyplace. My favorites were the clam chowder and the BLT, both of those hit the spot. I am not even a fan of clam chowder and thought I was getting a potato soup for whatever reason. I was so surprised that I actually enjoyed it and had it several times. The PBLT was loaded with thick cut pork belly and was to die for!! The fries that came with were hot and lightly salted. Fish tacos were ok but the steak ones were totally on point. They were loaded with a lot of meat that was seasoned just right. The tacos were also of a nice size, Three would definitely fill you up.For dinner the penne pasta with chicken and the roast beer tenderloin tips were good. The Doctor got the shrimp and grits one night and enjoyed it, but I couldn't see myself doing it because of the BBQ sauce used in the dish. That didn't sit right with me.For breakfast, the spouses had a private dining area where we were able to take part in the buffet. There was a decent selection of items, with freshly made omelettes. There was the standard fair of pastries, waffles, french toast, potatoes, grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. Food was hot and fresh. Staff was great and service was good.Definitely enjoyed eating at this joint, which was good since it would have been a hassle to go anyplace else. I would say that the food exceeded my expectations for a hotel restaurant."
