"Exhausted and famished, three of us crossing bucolic farm country along MD301 from a wedding weekend in NC back to LI. Sunday evening, little prospect of finding decent eats, and out of the fog a large sign on the side of the road not far from Millington advertising Two Tree...a mirage or real? We found the modest looking restaurant and felt we had to go in whatever--not another restaurant open in the area. Beautiful interior, well decorated, and warm greeting from a middle aged waitress. We were seated in a dining room with what appeared to be a dozen or so couples, probably local. The menu was the first sign this was an extraordinary place, with an extensive wine menu, and a range of appetizers, soups, entrees, and (on a dessert menu) home made desserts. I ordered the mushroom soup (never reached us, many apologies), a crab cake entree (delicious, artfully arranged on the plate with rice and broccoli). A member of our party had home made banana cream pie (celestial) and shared it with the others. Since we were driving quite a few miles back to NY, we didn't sample any of the wines, but finished with espresso well brewed with a lemon peel garnish. This place is outstanding, and we'll be back on future road trips! I'll be sure not to be the designated driver so I can sample the tempting wines. Gourmet food in a relaxed, small town setting."

"Placed an online order and arrived at the time the app said to arrive. Extremely unprofessional server advised me that they were out of what I ordered. I went to get my phone from my car to ask my husband what he would like instead. Told the rude server, the rude back line worker yelled they didn’t have roast beef and I said to substitute ham. I waited another 20+ minutes; the manager brought my food. I was missing the soup I ordered so I got back in line. The rude server interrupted a customer ordering to ask me what was wrong. I said I was missing soup. She yelled back to the kitchen where they were all laughing. I asked to manager if he was a manager and he said he just got there he didn’t know what was going on. I told him that they should call a customer and let them know the food they ordered isn’t available since you have to give your phone number and email. He said they don’t get that information. The back line was laughing; I said it would have also been professional for him to offer to refund the difference of what I originally ordered and what I received. He said he didn’t know and tried to give me some change. I also told him his customer service was terrible and his server had a bad attitude. When I got home with the food one of the sandwiches was not what we ordered. I spent over 40 minutes and $54.45 for two sandwiches, a chicken Cesar and a bowl of soup. I could have had a sit down dinner that would have cost about the same and taken the same amount of time. The manager and entire staff that was working tonight should be written up and be made to take customer service training. I’m sure they all think they are underpaid; with the service and quality of food we received you can see how much they care about their customers and their jobs."
