"What a terrific evening we had at this place. Our server, Sherry, truly did an exceptional job. She had excellent drink, wine, and food recommendations and her timing was impeccable. Our dinner was delicious. We shared the triple creme brie appetizer, which basically changed our lives. We both wanted the same entree, the grilled tenderloin, and it was perfectly prepared. The restaurant itself is very attractive, with a warm and welcoming ambience. The only bad thing about the City Grill is that it is 6 hours away from our home, so we won't be able to come as often as we'd like!"

"Update We?ve been coming here for a few years and unfortunately, I believe last night?s visit will be our last. The quality of the food is just so inconsistent from visit to visit. In the past it has varied from good to phenomenal, but unfortunately the past several visits have been really pretty disappointing. It seems that the quality of the ingredients has decreased significantly, but the price is always well over a hundred dollars for two people. Last night the shrimp and scallop pappardelle pasta, a go to dish for me here, felt like something I?d get at Olive Garden but with a Manhattan fine dining price tag. They were out of the fresh pappardelle they usually serve (not noted on the menu or told when ordered) and it was replaced with what appeared to be store bought fettuccine that was all stuck together and seemed to have been precooked. The shrimp was super over cooked and the scallops tasted like they had gone bad. I am so disappointed because I truly did love this place, but it just hasn?t held up in terms of quality. Way too expensive for what it has become. Initial review I really like Ward?s bridge in. I live really close and it is a good option for a treat yourself type dinner that has a decent balance of higher end dishes and also a great burger. Their whipped garlic butter that comes with the free bread at the start is reason in and of itself to make a trip here. They have great drinks and I love how they bring around a tray with all of the desserts on it at the end so you can see before you order. As for the main dishes- we?ve never had anything that wasn?t good, but have occasionally been a bit disappointed when ordering their dishes that aren?t the more standard offerings. Their pastas, salads, burgers, steak? Fantastic. I wouldn?t recommend their Asian fusion dishes. Ward?s is a great restaurant and I will absolutely be back. If you want to go on a weekend, be sure to make a reservation. They fill up fast!"

"Saw the name of this place on our way to the beach and just had to check it out. They have a buffet that apparently changes entree stylings frequently or a pretty lengthy menu of blue plate lunches, burgers and fries platters. I can't pass up fried chicken livers and they were very good plus a hefty portion. Sides were fine, standard fare of fries, slaw, etc. While it initially took us a while to get seated with menus, service was hospitable and frequent once we got our drinks. Prices were more than reasonable especially for a local establishment. Four stars because buffet is pretty small in terms of choices and it took a while for our food to come. Would certainly stop here again!"

"Wharf can I say... This place had it all. The manager, Stanley, was excellent. He was beyond friendly and efficient to his position. I enjoyed our first visit at this establishment and give much kudos to Stanley. The only thing I regret is that we are moving to Huntsville and I just found my favorite restaurant. ?The honey pecan shrimp and bacon wrap shrimp is a must try. Even my little one thoroughly enjoyed her grilled fish kids meal. The devil egg potato salad and cheese gouda grits were delicious....hushpuppies...I can go on and on. Thank you for my last sit-down meal in Montgomery. We are hopeful you'll put a restaurant in Huntsville. It was that good."

"I ordered a bacon burger, but received the small cheeseburger, the receipt showed a charge for small bacon cheeseburger. BUT they did make it right by supplying a bacon burger made to my order with lettuce tomato and b-b-q sauce. Peanuts are excellent and you can serve yourself from the barrel once again. All others ,3, in my party had their orders correct as placed. The place was especially clean , music moderate to loud in nature and employees friendly. They could use some new crayons or pencils in the index card drawing box ,which hangs on the wall and keeps little artist entertained.Food had a good flavor."
