"On my most recent visit, I opted for a half-dozen sliders for my meal. Unfortunately, what I received were six burnt patties served on lukewarm buns with cold slices of cheese; it was far from the quality I had experienced during my earlier visits. Normally, I'm pretty tolerant of slight overcooking or undercooking, but these were completely inedible. I managed to eat two-thirds of one slider, but all I could taste was char.
The waitress, who was fantastic, checked on my meal and I pointed out the burnt patties to her. She reported the issue to the kitchen and, to her credit, asked if they could prepare another batch, but I declined. Their proposed solution was to give me a 50% discount on my meal—a discount for something I couldn't eat at all. In most establishments, they would simply remove the charge for an inedible dish, but not here. So, I’ve decided not to return. While I appreciate the waitstaff, the food just doesn’t meet the mark, and after charging me for an unpalatable meal, I won’t be coming back."
