"Very small restaurant, could maybe seat 50 people from the looks of it. They have booth, table, high-top, and bar seating. There are plenty of staff running around to help their customers and is a good stop if you 're craving ramen. The parking lot is a little small, but adequate for the size of the restaurant and they do have a few vegetarian options on the menu. My boyfriend ordered the crispy chicken appetizer and it was ok at best, he advised some pieces were mostly fat that had been fried while the actual chicken pieces were good as was the batter that it was fried in. He also ordered the tonkatsu (pork) spicy ramen and added on a seasoned egg. He enjoyed it and did end up getting another to-go, but it wasn 't his favorite ramen ever. It came with thicker noodles and upon ordering the second portion, asked for udon noodles but the waitress didn 't know what that was and seemed like she hadn 't heard of udon before. Interesting, considering she 's working at a ramen restaurant. I don 't mean to sound degrading or offensive, it was just a little surprising. I ordered the standard chicken ramen with nori (seaweed), fresh garlic (asked for extra, didn 't taste any), and the waitress talked me into adding a seasoned egg even though I 'm really not a huge fan of eggs. In the end, she was right and it was pretty good. My ramen was good as well, served with a thinner noodle the way I like it. I was also talked into making my order a combo, which came with a variety of options. I went for gyoza (they only have pork) and it tasted fresh. The combo also came with a salad, which the dressing was listed as some sort of Japanese Vinaigrette ; I 'll be blunt, it sucked. Very little flavor and I ended up having it taken away after one bite. I think the last time that 's happened I was in highschool? I digress. Overall, the atmosphere, service, food, and timeliness of Jinya was good, but I wouldn 't boast that it was anything more than that."
