I remember while in the Army in the 80's, my sister telling me in a letter that the next time I was home she was going to take me there because she says they had the best lasagna she ever tasted. I got home, we went to Michael's....I ordered/ate the lasagna and now it is the standard that I compare all lasagna to....they have yet to be outdone."

We were traveling from Delaware and wanted great food away from the 'tourist traps ', it was wonderful, everything was so tasty, seasoned perfectly, fresh and portions were spot on....our server Carolyn went above and beyond, she even helped get us on the correct city bus back to where we were staying!! "Where do I begin? The staff was amazing, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive. We had a midday reservation and the coordination between the restaurant and wine specialists was flawless. The wine selection is probably the best we have tried in the Niagara region. The Unoaked Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blancs, and reserve reds are truly exceptional. The lunch we had was spectacular, as was our server Michelle. The squash soup was a fantastic starter and the gnocchi is a must-try. All we can say is wow! The burgers were also excellent. Just a heads up, the restaurant does not do tastings with lunch, but they can accommodate if guests plan on tasting before deciding on a wine to pair with their meal. This place truly stands out."

"Canadians visiting for first and only time here. I had higher hopes for this places. I was finally able to try it and was left very disappointed. About my visit: I will start off by saying it was busy, several people waiting to get a table however there were many tables available but empty. I was able to grab a seat at the bar. Secondly, I couldn’t help but observe the amount of dirty plates with food left around. There was also a large tray with stacked plates right by our seating area at the bar that was left there the entire time. I’ve also noticed that there was a lot of stuff around on the floors. Before getting our meals, I had gone to the washroom and was able to analyze my surroundings going there. I immediately had second thoughts of eating there due to the lack of cleanliness- maybe they were understaffed?? Thirdly, We received our appetizers, which was breadsticks, salad and the lasagna Fritta. The food tasted as if it was frozen, and just re-warmed definitely did not taste freshly made as the lasagna noodles were firm and chewy. At this point, we decided to cancel our main entrée. The server had no problem doing so however she charged our one salad as two separate salads, which I don’t think was reasonable but I didn’t make an issue of it. I’m not sure if this is because I am of a European background and have high expectations for flavor in food, but this certainly does not even come close to Italian cuisine! This is like McDonald’s making pasta and calling it Italian food. The only thing that may have kept me here was a cleaner environment, but after a sample of the food, it’s safe to say I will not be returning. Most positive part of my experience was my server-she was very pleasant!"

"A real family place! Love it here!! My cousins and i meet on sunday mornings. We feel so welcome and loved here. The workers go out of their way to accommodate our picky ways without a hitch. They really go above and beyond for the customers. The food is without a doubt the best in town and mike comes out to greet everyone and always makes it personal to each person. Just a very wonderful atmosphere to be in. I would suggest this establishment to anyone."

"My family and I came here last minute with no reservations and were so glad we did. My small children enjoyed the kids pasta and the gummy worm dessert. My husband and I had the pork belly appetizer and shared the ribeye steak with a side of Mac and cheese. We thought the steak was delicious and it came out perfectly medium well. We paired it with a nice red wine. The whole meal and the view was definitely a night to remember. We’d come back next time if we ever travel to Niagara Falls again."

"After overhauling ourselves from the mesmeric Niagara falls, this Punjabi food outlet was just awe!<br/ We were gently asked to grab seats in this busy evening where taking up a buffet was a must to which we were not hesitant because the aroma we got at the threshold was mind blowing.<br/ <br/ Each and every item was delicious and well presented. We tried Methi Chicken, Chicken Korma, Shahi Paneer, Papri Chaat. Among the rice items were Zaika’s Special veg Biryani filled with nuts veggies, plus Chicken biryani had a punjabi hint both were amazing along with raita.<br/ <br/ Desserts served fruit cream, sliced oranges gulab jamun my favourite.<br/ <br/ Loved this place as Zaika was a rescue for our hunger urge for Indian food in Niagara falls town.<br/ <br/ Would highly recommend this place."

"We've been going to La Galera for 15 years. We actually drive from a another city to Niagara Falls to go here, multiple times a year. You can count on friendly staff, large portions of sizzling, authentic Mexican food, and a surprisingly reasonable bill. During the summer there may be a short wait for a table, but that just certifies the quality of the establishment. The only room for improvement is the kids menu, because chicken fingers and fries is the only American food on it."

"Ate at Power City Eatery today and had the best Reuben ever. Fresh cooked daily corned beef so tender and tasty it will melt in your mouth on homemade bread that is smothered in again, homemade Thousand Island dressing and a perfect cheese. There were tones of a good wine flavoring the sauerkraut that tied it all up with perfection. On the side were a generous helping of yes, homemade potato chips and a perfect crispy deli pickle. The service was excellent. Don't blink or you might miss the sign on the front of the building. I'm visiting here from Colorado and am thankful to have found this local gem."

"This restaurant is quite traditional and cozy, with a homely atmosphere and authentic Indo-Pak style food. We had the breakfast of halwa puri and cholay with chai, and everything, especially the halwa, was delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we even ordered chicken curry to take away! The owners are very friendly, and we had a great time chatting with them. We're glad we visited before their winter break, or we would have missed out on some amazing food. Plus, it's conveniently located near Riverside Resort, making it a great halal food option for those staying there."

"Visiting from out of state and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! The staff is so unbelievably kind and considerate- a member of my group can’t have gluten and not only did the owner go out of their way to call the cider company to make sure it was gluten free but they edited the breakfast burrito (AMAZING btw) to be GF and increased the quantities of everything to make it amazing! They truly go above and beyond and treat you like they’ve known you for forever. PLUS everything on the menu is superb! Side note: Be nice to small businesses and the people that work in them. They’re working in weird times and still try their best to make sure you have an amazing experience. Show kindness and understanding!"

"I haven’t been so pleasantly impressed in a place as I am in the Brown Bear Diner in a very long time. I would be nuts to spend my money on breakfast anywhere else on niagara falls blvd or the local area if it was even slightly possible to go here to this diner in Lesalle. The food was fantastic, I got French toast and for just a bit over $5 I wouldn’t expect much but it was loaded with fruit and berries, whipped cream and there was a lot of it!! I’d spend almost half again as much anywhere else, even fast food places, for food that wasn’t even close to this quality. Even the presentation of it on the plate was pleasing. It wasn’t just slapped onto a plate but arranged with thought to appearance. I’ve lived nearby for a long time, and I have no idea why I did not try this sooner. I wish I had. Ya know when you find a place that’s good enough to tell your friends and family about because you want them to also have a good experience that your sorta sharing with them by telling them? That’s what I’m gonna do here. The waitress (her name was Savannah I believe) also was very helpful and did her job perfectly, not overbearing or neglectful, but just right and radiated positive happy energy. I’m Definitely going back again. I almost never write reviews on anything but this was such a good experience that I have. I wish I’d find more places this nice."
