"Diane and I reacquainted ourselves here during a recent dinner outing. We opened with very fine, hot and supple herb-encrusted Bread Sticks and Italian Country Bread with a crunchy crust that I slathered with butter. Stuffed Mushrooms filled with crab, garlic, and fresh herbs were ultra-cheesy. But the crab was lost in all the cheese. Calamari Fritti composed mainly of rings was golden and tasty dipped in mild Marinara Sauce. Minestrone Siciliano Soup was rustic and hearty but uncharacteristically contained a tough, torpedo-shaped hunk of meat, while a Signature House Salad with Iceberg Lettuce, tomato slices, and Red Onion shavings bathed in a light Italian Dressing was simply delicious. For entrees Diane liked the taste of Shrimp Parmesan Alfredo but was quite unhappy that there were few shrimps on her plate. My dish of Linguini Clams with White Sauce was very good, with nine fresh clams nestled in shells augmented by a fairly sizable heaping of clam meat. Service was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. This wasn't our best experience here but was nevertheless a pleasing Italian dining adventure."
