"My receipt does not show that I ordered a caesar salad, but that is what I demanded and I was not served a real caesar salad. When I was at the front where I had given up my order, I had said that I wanted only the dark part of the Romaine in my salad. But they gave me another kind of salad that had sour bleeding gaps and other toppings I didn't want. I asked for a manager, but the lady named Nicole was just a superior. But she claimed to be the manager of this place. All she had to do was hack a little from the dark hearty part of the romaine lettuce, and not try to reload me for a whole new $5 dollar salad! She raised her voice to me, rolled her eyes and asked me to pay twice! She lacked the basic human kindness because she was very controversial. She even cried over the room and made a scene because I went away and would not accept the salad. She illuminated me in front of the whole restaurant during a very busy time of the day. I regret bringing my guest to this place to experience a terrible treatment from a superior. Also I didn't order a sandwich because their bread is the majority of the time dry. They are also so tender with the meat. Does not fit the pictures of the sandwich images. It is clear that the new owner cuts back to the quality of the deli-undelicious sandwiches."

"Bookmark this place! A true hidden gem near Yosemite! Awesome vibe, great food, friendly people and staff. An authentic cowboy bar with that town home neighborhood vibe. Great staff, and we LOVED the loaded tots, tacos whiskey sours we had after a full day of hiking. 11 10 will return! Need to come back for the line dancing on Thursdays!"

"This place was a delight! Food was great, and the drinks and dessert were impressive too. We ordered the Zincronizada, torta, 2 aqua frescas, and a churro split. The zincronizada is kind of in between a quesadilla and a wrap; crunchy lettuce, savory meat, all inside a grilled tortilla. One interesting thing with the aqua fresca here is you can mix flavors and pick more than one flavor. The highlight for me was the churro split. It's like a banana split, but replace the bananas with churros. The churros tasted fresh. And combo with icecream made it magical. I love the décor too. My kids and I enjoyed adding little things to their beautifully decorated chalk boards while we were waiting for our food."

"Super accommodating and friendly staff. Food was really delicious. We came after the patio server had left and we had a pet. They set up a patio table just for us and our dog. Our server was really nice and even offered some dog friendly meals. Kids thoroughly enjoyed their tomato and clam chowder soups. Everything was very tasty and after a long hot day, the Oakhurst Grill was a satisfying and memorable finish. Thanks again to the great staff! Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options including pizza,pasta,burger and chicken fingers."

"I think the restaurant is quite good, pleasant environment inside, friendly service. Food is good, not many places around the white tablecloths have to look a bit up. Price is right, or spend another $100 easy on Manhattan or Brooklyn. For young children, for birthdays or at special times. In NYC we spend a simple $500 just in the restaurant. The toll is also like a supplement only for the trip to NYC. Great quality, friendly service and allows privacy, great value. Probably soon. "My grandfather, Aunt Neice and I went to Pop tonight. I was very impressed by service and food. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy. You can eat inside or outside in a terrace setting. The food was very cheap and of great quality. We got the onion ring for $5. You could say that they cut the onion there and made the dough themselves. So often I ordered onion rings in other places and they are frozen out of a bag with chewing hard corneal batter. Grandpa got the chili for $7 and was excellent. My niece got the children's burgers and the meat is fresh and the patties made there. I got the chicken sandwich for $9 and the chicken wasn't processed. 100% chicken breast. The role it was laid was soft and you could eat the sandwich without making a mess. My aunt has the Ruben sandwich for $9 and that was excellent. I feel like they smoke the bride for their pastrami. The texture and spice would never be found in your local grocery store. We haven't waited for our food for more than 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and very helpful. When it was time to go home, they asked if we wanted to go boxes. Then they took the food and boxed it for us. This place is a must. Great atmosphere, friendly service, great prices and fast."

"I was on my way home from Yosemite and wanted a breakfast burrito and they did not disappoint. I had breakfast for two days just from one burrito. It was totally satisfying and I will definitely be coming back. I did however, wanted one without meat and it had a nice helping of beef, but I ate it anyways because it was so damn delicious. A delicious mistake. I can't wait to try other things in the menu next time i'm rolling through. BTW at the time it was take out only a few weeks ago. But plenty of parking in the lot! No one was there!"

"We had breakfast and it was awesome! Being from out of town ! we were unsure what biscuits and gravy were, so we asked and were brought a sample to try, which was really kind. Our main meals were excellent, I had the chicken and pancakes waffles were off which were delicious. The omelette my wife had was enormous, perfectly cooked and came with a good helping of sautéed potatoes. The service was prompt, even though there were quite a few people in, and friendly. The whole place was spotless and had great music too! All in all a fantastic experience. Tried to leave a review on Trip Advisor, but no listing yet."

"I want to like this location based on chain brand success, and i have eaten here throughout the years. Recently however, the level of filth here was not the Me n Eds one might expect to dine at. My money was not well spent here sadly. Nothing was very clean or orderly in any way. Salad bar? Yeah right, dirty and all blown out, untended to. Fountain drinks? Nope all syrup. No knowledgeable employee on site who could fix the set-up, however drinks were still being sold. Sticky tables, dirty floors, barely any staff. I recommend folks avoid this location until a full re-tool occurs. There's much cleaner pizza places in oakhurst."

"This is a fantastic little coffee shop that serves great tea. We tea drinkers get mixed results when visiting coffee shops, but this place uses real loose leaf teas. And they actually used a steeping timer when making my London Fog. They know what they are doing here. The breakfast burrito and the banana bread were all fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a stop here!"

"I almost didn't go to Takara because of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad I ignored them and had a chance. I don't know what these negative critics were talking about. The food was EXCELLENT!! Hibachi is so much fun! The portions were huge and we all received even portions as you can see in my photos (1 of them was taken after I had taken several bites of steak and vegetables). Everything was beautifully aromatized and nothing needed additional seasoning. We ordered Sushi appetizers, a cocktail and hibachi entrées. We asked for water and were offered a selection of taps or bottles. Kosher food is more and more expensive, but this is expected. The prices were on par with other kosher hibachi and you pay the same or more for kosher steak everywhere. The Maschgiyachs even placed the meat on the Hibachi Grills themselves! Usually in restaurants you never see the Maschgiyach, so it is nice to know that they are actively involved in ensuring that your meal is properly treated. Since hibachi is so much fun for children, I want to see that they add a children's menu. We had to order my child an adult meal, but remnants will be enjoyed tomorrow! We moved to NJ from NY about 2 years ago, so we have very high standards when it comes to restaurants and food, and Takara is not disappointed!"
