"Upon arrival, we were initially left unattended until a gentleman helped us find a table by the window. He informed us that the price included all-you-can-eat food and drink. To our surprise, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, with many unused tables. However, the buffet experience was disappointing. The selection was inadequate, and they ran out of food quickly. The additional options consisted of frozen items that you could easily find in bulk at a store for a backyard party. We expected much better!
As we neared the end of our meal, we were informed that the bill was on its way. This was the final straw for me. I felt the need to speak with someone about our experience. Samantha, who seemed overwhelmed, was sympathetic but not surprised to hear about the poor food quality. After some back and forth, she offered us a discount on our drinks but was unable to compensate us for the meal itself. I brought up the fact that our table had not been cleared throughout our visit, and it seemed that many others wanted to use the nearby clearing area.
I understand these are challenging times for restaurants, but if you’re going to charge a hefty price of $43 (including an 18% service fee), you should at least serve better food and be honest with customers about what to expect. It’s frustrating to feel taken advantage of. Please don’t waste your money at this once-great culinary experience; it was a sad letdown.
