"Took a friend to her doctor 's appointment yesterday; she took us to lunch as a Thank You. I know they 're not good for us, but I do love McDonald 's cheeseburgers. Yesterday I switched up my order and got the new Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Bacon, and Jalapeno... It has some abbreviated name... looks it up... Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon QPC... Huh, not as abbreviated as I thought. Anyway, it was quite good. The jalapenos actually had some heat to them, which isn 't always the case, even when you buy them at the grocery store. My boyfriend has his own special order: a quarter pounder, minus the ketchup and mustard, add Mac Sauce. That way he doesn 't get that middle bun or have to deal with lettuce. Our friend had a Big Mac with fries (that she shared with me, cuz I love fries . No issues with the ordering process and the food came out quickly. Everything was delicious. We were thrown into a bit of a situation with a few other customers, though. Some random woman overheard us talking about politics (they had CNN on in the restaurant, which was a nice change of pace from Fox News, which is usually what plays in most places I visit and decided to invite herself into our conversation. I 'm not really sure what she was talking about, because both she and her friend (who she called over to our table from across the room, because he is a 'No-Joe ' were mumblers and not the brightest bulbs in the shed. So we hustled out of the restaurant before she returned from the bathroom, so we wouldn 't have to try to decipher her word salad. The restaurant was clean and we had our choice of tables. One of the best McDonald 's I 've been in, in a loooong time."
