"They definitely earned their five star rating. Though there isn't a host per se and you can seat yourselves, Sam was quick to greet us once we sat down. There was a little schmutz on the chair, but it didn't bother me much. Still, Sam ran to attempt to help me clean it, though I already sat down. We arrived when the place was practically empty, with only one group of customers at one table. We ordered and within minutes the restaurant was crawling with guests as the kitchen frantically tried to finish delivery and pick-up orders and get them out the door. I ordered a chicken tikka masala entree, and my fiance ordered a chicken biryani. By the way, if you go to a place with biryani in the name, you're not doing yourself a favor by not ordering the namesake. It's definitely the highlight of our meal. The paltry amount of basmati included with my masala entree was offset by the mountain of rice that comes with the biryani. Anyway, the food took way longer than I would have liked (almost half an hour), but I believe it might have to do with the many take out and delivery orders that preceded us. Despite being empty, there was probably a multitude of chicken tikka masala orders ahead of me, at least I hope that is the reason. But nonetheless, Sam made us feel welcome and apologized for the wait and assured us it was on its way. He also made sure to mention the 5% discount if you paid in cash, though it's on a plaque right behind the counter. There's also 5% discounts for checking in on Yelp and Facebook, which both my fiance did, but we were sure they probably do not combine or compound. You might want to ask that if you want to save some cash just in case they do. If you can be patient and have time on your hands, you won't be disappointed. It's a very laid back environment, but like any place, can get loud when it's crowded."
