"We wanted so much to love this place, and I expect we could on another visit... but not this time (our first visit). Our waiter, Taylor, was friendly and explained the menu well. When we ordered drinks, my hubby and our friend both wanted old fashions and Taylor recommended one on the menu that he said was outstanding so they both agreed to it even though it was $27 each (a pricey old fashion). We ordered one appetizer, the shrimp cocktail, and our meals. The shrimp cocktail was presented well, but was just okay (I expected better shrimp at a place of this caliber). When our meals came, only 4 of the 5 of us were served. The 4 of us waited for the 5th meal to be delivered (so as not to be rude). We waited and waited. He finally encouraged us to eat our meals so they wouldn 't get cold... so we did. We were looking around for Taylor, but didn 't see him. We were about half way done eating when Taylor came to ask how our meals were. We pointed to the guest with no food in front of him and Taylor 's eyes got big. He immediately rushed to the kitchen. Less than 10 minutes later he returned with the last plate of food but by then, the rest of us were almost done eating. There was no explanation given and there was no apology. I assumed that at the very least, when the bill came, the forgotten meal would be comped. Nope. And when I looked over the bill, I saw that the old fashions were $54 a piece! It said they were served doubles. Yikes! With the tip (we left 20% in spite of the gross error) they were $65 each. We all had prime rib that was very good and the potato side dishes were delicious as well. For what it 's worth, the guys said the old fashions were the best they have ever had but at a steep price for sure. In retrospect, I wish I had spoken to a manager before we left, but it was a holiday weekend and having worked in restaurants (many years ago) myself, I understand the importance of turning over tables... so I chose not to."

"Let me say this I have not been here since it opened. When we first went, it was cramped, had small cushioned furniture where you were expected to almost eat in your lap so you can imagine when a friend told me to have breakfast there, I was a little confused. The first time I was in, I ordered a latte and the confusion that was created the I will never come here again monster that I tend to become when I have bad service, even once. Fast forward to this morning. Totally different place! They have the location next door now so it is completely opened up with a bar marrying both halves, one side of the restaurant has the sun on the ceiling and the other has the moon and twinkling stars that were visible during the day. Very artsy, Uptown like (If you are from the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area that will make sense to you not in a NY Uptown kind of way) The menu had such variety, the waitress educated on what they offer and thank the LORD they have gluten free options. I did break down and have the chips and salsa because the waitress went on and on about them as they are made in house. They were pretty delicious but, the chips reminded me of the fried wontons you would get in a Chinese restaurant if you like those you will like these. Just do not want to mislead you. I had the Florentine Panini (no Panini GF bread instead) hubby and daughter went traditional and loved the hash browns. I hear the pumpkin pancakes are to die for today they came with glazed pear slices or something insane like that we decided to go light this morning. This will be our new breakfast spot for sure! Now, we will have to try lunch and dinner"
