"Restaurant no longer member of the Open Table so restaurant was not notified by the reservation I made through your website. While the staff tried to press us, we got a table in the bar door. The people who came to the bar pushed into our chairs and it was too loud. We went without order. very disappointing! This low rating applies both to OpenTable and to updating your website."

"Our first time there, we went in and were told it was a 20 minute wait so we gave our phone number and waited. We watched as people came and went. We sat outside for 45 minutes waiting. We ended up leaving. I called and told them just take my number off the list we obviously were not going to get a table. The girl was slightly rude about it so I just left it at that. 2 minutes after we hung up a guy called back and apologized saying he crossed our number off thinking he sat us. Mistakes happen. The fact that he called me back right away shows he cares. We will definitely be back to try the food."

"Went with a larger party and the waitress was friendly but not very attentive unfortunately. I honestly don't even remember if she told us her name. The food was good however and came out in a timely manner for having a relatively decent sized party!Appetizers were delicious and the arancini fried risotto balls were delicious. Unfortunately I chose the Garlic Chicken pasta asan entree and it wasn't that great. The sauce I thought was going to be thicker but it was super thin and watery and didn'tstick to the food. However the burgers the party ordered came out looking delicious! I would've been better off with thatprobably."

"OH. MY. WORD. BEST restaurant experience of the year!!! (and we go out a lot). This restaurant is everything we hoped for and more. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and magical. (outdoor courtyard is amazing). The food was THE BEST. Hubby said it was the best fish and chip he's ever had. The Guinness Stew was out of this world. The drinks were GREAT. The chocolate cake was as big as my head and oh so decadent! And the best part? The service! Our waiter, Don, made this themost memorable evening. He was fast, entertaining, professional, and delightful. The owner took the time to chat with us. THIS. This was what one hopes for in a perfect night out. We will make the hour drive from Rhode Island just to eathere again. Thank you. We have been back! Our sons, aged 19, and 12 agree that it is worth the trip and whenever we suggest going out, this is their first choice! They would probably drive the hour just for the homemade chips! Once again,everything we ordered was AMAZING."

"Stopped for a late bite and a drink and it was great. Perfect night for alfresco dining. Started off with potato skins got 4 nice pieces. We also shared Mac/cheese bits which were very tasty. I also ordered child/senior fish chips which was delicious. My wife's margarita was very good and my beers were nice cold. Have stopped here several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. Service has always been good.... not great...... and tonight was no different. Nothing fancy just a nice local restaurant. Update; 4/28/17 Perfect night for alfresco dining so my wife selected Someplace Special especially because I have enjoyed their Fish Chips. Food was very good again (Fish Chips and Chicken Alfredo) but service was just ok. Really wished waitress had come back more frequently to get my wife another glass of wine and for more napkins. By the way. It has nice little bar but don't expect sports on the 3 Tv's. The Bartender.... same guy every time I have visited must not like sports. Always cooking shows. Also strange, the other restaurants in downtown Putnam almost always have waits for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night. Not Someplace Special. You can always get a table. It's just not as popular. I guess it just lacks that extra something to move it to next level."

"We've come here since this place was opened first and never disappointed. Yes, a bit on the expensive side, but always a very good meal. You have a very eclectic selection and super fresh food. The manager passes and searches the tables to check the satisfaction of all. No place for small children. Low illuminated and perfect for romantic and conversational meals. I'll go back. I know people from Worcester who travel here to Putnam to enjoy food and ambience. Parking on the street or rear parking for the factory. Take out is brilliant, but still prefer fresh served dishes."

"Burnt Ends and Ribs were too dry to eat, even with bbq sauce. 1/2 chicken was undercooked as was the filet. Fries were good. Wing apps were also very dry, hard to eat. Left a lot of food and did not elect to take any of it home. Service was spotty at best. 2 tables that sat after us were eating, one was done and left before our food came out."

"My family and I went for a small going away party of just seven people. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we ordered. Everything sounded great, my wife and brother in-law ordered the lobster tail toped with lobster ravioli in a lobster sauce and I ordered a pizza with lobster and other stuff on top. A few minutes later they came back and told us they were running out of lobster for the sauce so they would substitute the seafood of their choice for the ravioli. So, we got our meals and the lobster tails were black and adhered to the shell. I ate a slice of my partly burned pizza and realized I didn't have any lobster on it. All we could do was laugh as we sent back plate after plate of burned or miss represented food. Five of the seven people in our party had never eaten at Bella's and I will be shocked if any of us ever go again. The food was awful but it made for a funny story and a memorable going away party."

"I usually enjoy going here but honestly feels like it might be my last time, my fiancé and I ordered 2 grinders and onion rings. My grinder came out good but hers was a totally different story. She ordered a chicken cutlet and got a chicken parm grinder instead, we called up and they offered to make her a new grinder and gave a apology. We decided to take them up on the offer and drove back to the restaurant all the way from home to pick up the new grinder. When we finally got the new grinder and brought it home it was a half fast made grinder that was a huge mess (as seen in the photo) with the bun being completely separated and the bread being ripped up like in the photo. We tried calling again but at this point they were closed and no one was picking up the phone. If Uptown Sandwich fixes this I will redo the review but as of right now I give them a 1 star for professionalism and for their half fast job of trying to fix a situation they created."

"This restaurant in Putnam is the best in the area! Since moving here in 2020, we have been on the lookout for a new spot for date nights. We have tried other places like the Black Dog and the Courthouse, but The Quarterback Club is a hidden gem! The decor and atmosphere were a pleasant surprise when we walked in. The service was great, although the margarita and Coors Light we ordered were a bit disappointing. However, the fresh espresso martini made up for it! The Halftime Combo appetizer with fried pickles, mushrooms, and zucchini sticks was delicious. The Quarterback Burger was massive and topped with pulled pork and onion rings, cooked perfectly to our liking. The fries could use some seasoning, but the malt vinegar on the table was a nice touch. Overall, this was the best burger I've had in a long time!"

"Typical roadside stand, which has either food or ice cream. Best way to describe the place is hit or miss. Food: mostly fried fare, nothing special. Nothing stands out. We once took our dog there and while we had ice cream, I ordered a Hamburger without the bun for her. It was pricey, considering it was nothing special but a pre fab low quality patty. I ordered it without the bun didn 't expect a price break) but the $4 they charged was terrible. Hate to say it but McD 's basic burger is better and cheaper. Ice cream: good quality ice cream, but the quantity for each size depends on the server. Once we ordered a medium size cone, and it contained the same amount as a kiddie cone. Asked about it and server teenage kid) said that 's normal. I asked to speak to manager and then he put another scoop on it. Problem is they have high school kids working and nobody is really supervising them. Because of this hit or miss thing they have, we hardly go there anymore. We only go if it 's not busy, because this place isn 't worth the wait! I believe, that because this place has been around for over half a century, and people go there just because of that and the name!"

"Went for lunch. Had crab cakes salad was honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had. Crab cakes tasted like anchovies and chocolate and was extremely fishy. Bar service wasn't that great. Had to wait for bar tender to come back to ask for my check Would not recommend this place. Very disappointed after all the hype of this place."
