"Wedding day dinner. The majority of stars are based on food, because this is the most important aspect of every restaurant. The food was excellent. We competed with an old fashion and the special Witches Brew cocktail. Both were strong and we ordered several (highly recommend the witches brew). While I was a little disappointed about the appetizer options, I was so glad we ordered the Bacon! The glaze was an excellent touch, my husband shamelessly scraped the plate. I cannot recommend the scallop bowl enough! I mean perfectly cooked! This is my food in other upscale restaurants, so just trust me. My husband had the top rib, and it was great. Another must is the Lobster Mac and Cheese! Order it!!! Every single penny worth it! We wrapped with cream and a 3 layer of chocolate cake. Both were good. Our waitress was Cassi and she was great! Pleasant and attentive. I specifically call her because we made a comment on something we received. And when she could just walk away, she agreed that we were 100% satisfied. Not all servers do that! Well, that part. We were looking for something special for our anniversary. The prices on this menu were not cheap. The atmosphere in the dining room was missing. It takes a serious deep cleaning of the cabins - a lot of dust. And the music choice for dinner was a little honky-tonk for my pleasure. Although there is beautiful glass and a beautiful bar, some of the other decor was more dated than I expected. But there are great photo-oves outside and in the foyer. Another mistake was on the dessert plate. They knew it was our anniversary, and maybe I'm just pampered, but I'm getting used to the restaurant that writes Happy Anniversary on the plate. It is a small thing and not a big thing, but something I think has become standard in an upscale restaurant. And I always mention 'upscale ', I definitely feel the food fulfills these criteria, the decoration / atmosphere is at the bottom end what you would pay for the price."
