"I called the manager, Tammy, to report what had happened and discuss our meal. I distinctly remember her saying that food poisoning takes 24 to 48 hours to kick in and was puzzled about what made us so sick. I told her I work in a hospital and know the onset can vary from a few hours to a few days. She dismissed my input, stating, "That’s not what the health department told me." Throughout the conversation, there was barely any apology offered, and she implied that it was unlikely her restaurant could be at fault.
I didn’t want anything more than to inform her of the situation and receive a sincere apology. I was appalled by her dismissive attitude, especially for someone in a managerial position. This experience alone has made me reluctant to eat there again."
