"That was our first time. Location is quite easy to get to others than the traffic that can be on Rte 9. There are many free parking spaces. We loved the decor that made a mixture of high ceilings, many windows, beautiful maple table tops black metal-exposed pipes. There is a huge bar and some large group seats next to tables. It is a very open concept, but does not feel hollow at all. The menu is not huge as you would find in the usual pub, but there is a good selection with many unique dishes. The prices for drinks are moderate, what you would expect for such a restaurant in Shrewsbury. Since we were there during the lunch hour, we drove the appetizers for a sandwich and a burger with frits. I had the short ribbed cheese with Parmesan Rosmarinfries. My husband had the biggest bacon cheeseburger we've ever seen with the same fries. My sandwich was food full of delicate meat with picked onions had a side of au jus, the delish. The burger of my husband was perfectly cooked, was juicy covered with onion rings. The companions were some of the best we ever had. Husband had a diet Cola I had a big, spicy **** Mary with a few big olives, celery stem lemon / sedan wedges. Only the addition of a large shrimp could have made it better. Our entire experience of decor, food, drinks waiting service was great. We're planning a return."
