"A little off the beaten path on the way “Up North”, sits this gem of a restaurant. We stayed in Silver Bay, otherwise we probably wouldn’t had found it. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Since they had trophies from hamburger competitions on display, we decided to give the burgers a try. My wife had the Maple Bacon Bourbon Burger, our granddaughter had a regular cheeseburger and I had the Applewood Cheddar Burger. All came with fries. The 1/3 lb burgers were excellent! Juicy and great flavor. You have a choice of pretzel or onion buns, both are good. The fries weren’t your average French fry. They had a light coating on them and were crispy and hard to stop eating. For dessert, we split a brownie/ice cream bowl with whipped cream. It was a good thing we split it, it was huge! The brownies were light and in chunks, which made it easy to load up on your spoon. The ice cream and whipped cream both tasted like they were homemade. The waitress was great! She made sure we were happy and well taken care of. Now that we found this place, it will definitely get a return visit from us on our frequent journeys “Up North”."
