"We decided to take my mother to Surah for dinner on Mother's Day since she was interested in trying Korean BBQ. We had made a reservation and were promptly seated upon arrival. We opted for the all you can eat BBQ dinner, which cost about $45 per person and included bulgogi on the menu. However, after ordering our first round of meat, we found ourselves having to flag down a server for rice, water refills, and other items. While there were brief moments of attentiveness, overall we had to continuously seek out assistance. Additionally, we noticed small details such as mismatched plastic water pitchers on the tables with faded labels and the staff not wearing a uniform (even simple black t-shirts with the restaurant's name and black pants). The bathrooms were not well-maintained and the floors were slippery and greasy. The entire establishment could benefit from a thorough cleaning, improved employee training, and possibly new management. The food itself was delicious, but the service and atmosphere left much to be desired. A visit from someone like Robert Irvine might be able to help them improve."
