"I've had my fair share of delicious Thai food and Phu-Ket ranks as one of the top contenders! The food here is fresh, flavorful and authentic. Once you walk in, the ambiance of this restaurant is warm and inviting. A high-end look without the high-end prices! I ordered... Fried Shu Mai: I love how these are bite sized but packed with so much flavor. served with dipping sauce, although it's delicious on it's own as well. Scallion pancakes: super crispy and decent sized. perfect for sharing with a large group. Phuket's wings: These were the favorite of the table! These wings were fried to perfection and the sauce complemented the wings really well. chicken satay: the chicken is really tender and the peanut sauce was a perfect dipping sauce to go with it! Green curry with chicken and Red curry with beef: Both of these curry dishes were packed with flavor. Curry is always something that I've failed many times to make at home, so when I order it at a restaurant, I expect it to satisfy my cravings and they definitely delivered here! Highly recommended with the chicken or beef. pad thai: I love how the noodles were different than your typically pad thai noodles. They were long here which I felt like held more of the flavor in vs. the short rice noodles you get at other restaurants. A staple dish and one that is done well! pad see ew: One of my go-to dishes when I eat Thai and also one I hold very high expectations for! Phu ket hit it right on the spot! chili basil duck: This is a new dish that I haven't tried before but will now become one of my regular dishes. Decent portion and great sauce to accompany the duck. A great restaurant in the Wakefield area. I'll definitely be back!"

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, and as someone from Hunan, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to try Xiangcai cuisine for the first time. The presence of a map showcasing Changsha city on the table evoked a warm and welcoming feeling. The food at this place is outstanding, especially the spicy chicken gizzards and the fish dishes, which I thoroughly enjoyed. While the cauliflower dish was just okay and not something I’d recommend, the chicken gizzards were exceptional—chewy, well-seasoned, and with a pleasant level of spiciness. They paired wonderfully with rice, making for a satisfying meal. Another highlight is the unique Changsha shaomai, distinct from the shaomai you typically find in other Chinese restaurants. Unlike those that usually contain shrimp or meat, the Hunan shaomai is filled with seasoned sticky rice, creating a delightful twist. We also tried the two different pepper fish dishes, and we loved adding noodles to them. The noodles soaked up the delicious fresh broth, enhancing the overall taste and experience. Xiangcai湘菜 is one of the eight major Chinese cuisines, and I believe it deserves more attention. Compared to chuancai 川菜, it stands out with its spicy seasoning derived from fresh peppers, avoiding the numbing effect of chili peppers. If you’re a fan of Chinese food, I highly recommend embarking on a Xiangcai culinary adventure at this restaurant!"
