"I loved this place so much it actually made me emotional. Besides the EXCELLENT atmosphere (no decorations have ever been more on point) and the kindest staff ever, the coffee was AWESOME and why?? did the bagel dragged through the garden taste so good???? Seriously, what was on that. It was hard not to simply inhale it. Please give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Also: so many comfortable and different places to sit. "AMAZING! So good! We ate there yesterday based on reviews alone. We are traveling from Michigan on our way to Pigeon Forge and stopped for lunch. Was not disappointed. Everything was top notch. The service, the delightful owner Jackie, and the food we can't stop talking about. The area was a little run down and I heard them say they were relocating or getting a new building, I'm so happy for them. "It was the worst food and service I have ever had. We were treated rudely from the start because we came in the second entrance. Then my wife was told after we had waited a while that her first dish wasn't available. Then her avocado chicken sandwich had no flavor of salt, my son's hamburger was sloppy and didn't taste good, and my pub fries were the worst. They were coated in season salt and then fried, which made them bitter. our meal was over a hundred dollars, which is ridiculous to pay them much for that type of service. We have eaten here numerous times, and it was good, but after this we will never come back."

"I came a couple of days ago. I asked for my eggs to be well done and and for my biscuits to be normal (not the spicy ones) in my chicken and biscuits dish. My eggs were so runny even the white was still not fully done, and my dish still had the spicy biscuits. The waitress just have me extra normal biscuits when I told her. All the gravy was on the other biscuit with the runny eggs. Also the chicken was over done and hard. You might say I should have asked for my whole dish to be changed but I didn’t have the time to wait around for another one and tried not to waste the food but ended up not eating it. It should have been done right from the start. So over all, wasn’t a good experience."

"We have been trying to come here for quite some time after being recommended by a few acquaintances. They told us that the food was great. A place called flats and TAPS give us the impression that the beer list would be something to write home about. That was a bit misleading. The list was very basic, a lot of domestic, not much craft beer. And they pretty much had a bottle list of the same stuff that was on draft. Not much going on in that department. The food was good, we got a salad and some flatbreads and I wouldn’t complain about it. It didn’t take very long for the food to come out either. Service was good, there was one server running the floor inside and outside and she was attentive and refilled our beverages and checked on us as necessary. The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that there was someone in the open kitchen who did not have a hat on and kept touching their face, glasses, and hair. This was a bit of a turn off, as we all work in the industry and know it is a no-no. "

Google clearly says they close at 7:00pm. "We were in Knoxville just for an overnight and chose Gavino's for dinner as it was close to our hotel turned out to be a great choice. Pizza was excellent and garlic knots some of the best we have ever had, and we have sampled many over the years. Mary Beth was our server and was efficient, congenial, and a joy to talk to. Overall a 5 star experience and a place to which we will certainly return should our travels bring us to Knoxville again."

"This place has the best Thai food in town. It's fresh, always consistent and just really, really good. My only complaints are the atmosphere which I know can't really be changed in a small restaurant. It is a bit chaotic and the food can sometimes take up to an hour to come out. There is an underlying anxious vibe because you usually have multiple people standing by the door waiting for a table and because it's such a small establishment it feels like you have an audience. I would not recommend dining in if you are uncomfortable with crowds or claustrophobic. Also, try to avoid being sat near the restroom because the sewage smell is quite potent. On a lighter note, the staff works hard and always gets the order right. I highly recommend this place but for pickup or delivery only."

"Imagine traveling to Knoxville for FANBOY Expo at the Knoxville Convention Center, and deciding to eat at Ruth Chris restaurant and had a reservation for at least 60 days prior for a BIRTHDAY celebration and the cook serves you a Lobster tail that was obviously cooked prior and re heated up and over cooked to the point of it being dried out and tasting like rubber. The filet migon steak was not prepared as ordered... mashed potatoes were luke warm and the salad was missing the side of boiled egg on one of the salads ordered, and nobody ever came to refill water or refill beverages Sprite Coca-Cola). The server was on point but Ruth Chris in Knoxville was a disaster and a disappointment. On your BIRTHDAY dinner that they were aware from the reservation and it's already a extremely bad experience, but you don't make a fuss because some people will spit in your food... so you deal with it and feel bad that your group that joined you is paying for sub par food that should have never reached my table. I don't know if the cook even cares about how his/her food looks or is prepared when it leaves the kitchen... Won't ever be a next time nor will I suggest that people who regularly frequent Ruth Chris in the city or state that they live in and have good experiences ever bother to waste their time at Ruth Chris in Knoxville, Tennessee. Additionally when you make these observations and take the time to make Ruth Chris aware of your experience in order to do better they NEVER respond nor do they correct the problem. I might have to stop patronizing Ruth Chris... my last bad experience was Ruth Chris in Long Beach, California on Thanksgiving day and got the Thanksgiving meal for $42.00 and sat in the bar area in a single booth...Why did the bartender put extra on my bill because he knew that Icouldn't see small print, but I took a picture with my cell phone and zoomed in on my receipt... the bill was like $78.00 when the Thanksgiving meal was a flat price of like $42.00 including tax I told him/bartender when I was seated that I forgot my glasses and couldn't read small print and if he could refresh me on the beverage choices). The manager just happened to walk by wishing restaurant guests Happy Thanksgiving and I got his attention and said How is my bill $78.00 when set price for the Thanksgiving holiday meal was only $42.00 including tax? The manager corrected the bill, but the bartender was pulling a fast one and kept watching me from a distance to see if I was just going to sign the bill without looking over the bill. On this particular day I didn't have enough cash on me to pay the $42.00 and leave a decent tip so I was going to use my debit card... Usually I go get cash from the ATM and pay cash so that these restaurant staffers are not able to over charge or run my card for an amount that it's correct then I don't have to worry about corrupt acts fraud. Do you think when I contacted Ruth Chris Corporate office about my experience of being overcharged and I definitely have reason to believe it was the bartender trying to take advantage of the situation because he was aware that I couldn't see the menu or small print and figured I would not be able to see the excessive over charge on my bill of nearly $37.00 Nope Ruth Chris NEVER contacted me, and guess what they lost a regular customer at the Long Beach, California location... Ruth Chris do better and respond when customers have a concern or complaints. I figure if they don't care then they don't deserve my business.. I have many choices and I always let others know about good experiences and bad experiences but word of mouth travels and Ruth Chris is not a place that seems to care about their customers or their brand. I give it 12 months they will be closing down restaurants and file bankruptcy because people don't want to take their hard earned money and be treated like this... they will stop patronizing your establishment, and your businesses will go under."

"We continuously try to give opportunities for this place to improve and it never does. We got our drinks and then waited over 30 minutes for food, we ordered country fried steak and biscuits and gravy and not once after getting drinks did we see our waitress during this time… once the food was supposedly done the waitress finally comes out to tell us that they did not have gravy but the food was already done, if we wanted to order something else we could but we did not want to sit and wait another half hour for different items so we dealt with it. When she got the food and brought it out the food that supposedly just finished cooking was cold. Another waitress had to bring my husband a refill on his drink bc our waitress was nowhere to be seen after this. When mentioned up front to cashier after she asked about how things were she laughed under her breath and continued ringing us up. This is not the first time this has happened and we continue to give the benefit of the doubt bc we used to love Cracker Barrel but obviously standards are no longer a thing. We don’t mind waiting at all, we both work management for retail, but paying and dealing with poor service and food that isn’t complete and cold is ridiculous. Cracker Barrel obviously doesn’t care about standards"

"I had the double bacon cheese burger combo. It was so good! The hamburger tasted homemade and the fries are seasoned nicely. The burgers were hot fresh with great looking, tasty toppings. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, dill pickles, mayo, cheese, crispy bacon. Best burger I 've had in a long time. It was packaged nicely in a plastic reheatable container, drink was safety sealed food was bagged securely to. What a great all-around experience. My receipt says Bob was my server, Thank you Bob! You are much appreciated for your treatment of my order. My food was excellent, packaged the best I 've ever received on GrubHub. My delivery person, JAY was fast to. My sister got the same thing enjoyed hers as well. Our items were just as we ordered. Definitely will be ordering again. This was my 1st time eating here. "If I could give it Zero stars, I would (even though I didn't get the opportunity to eat any of the food). I ordered the general tso chicken combo with 2 extra egg rolls... I told the female that I needed extra soy sauce. Logistics wise, I live approx 4 minutes away from the restaurant. I ordered the food while in Krogers doing my weekly shopping. After I left Krogers, I loaded my groceries in my car and proceeded inside this facility. I asked the girl to make sure that she put extra soy sauce (ordered for my daughter and I to share). I get home unpack my groceries and finally get to the food from there( the total amount of time for all of this 9 minutes from pick up to the incident)The fried rice and the sauce from the Tso chicken was all over the bag, and apparentlyduring during transport a good amount of the chicken ended up in the fried rice because there was a huge amount of the Tso sauce darn near soup like in the 2 side containers within the box. No biggie, I took out all of the contents to discover she placed 2 soy sauce packets for 3 egg rolls and a platter filled with fried rice. When I called back up there, she decided to tell me that I was lying she gave me 4 soy sauces. Being called a liar in my book is a HUGE INSULT! Like be so for real, who has time to LIE ABOUT FREE CONDIMENTS?!? So I packed everything back up so she could argue with the bag as she gave it to me. Upon my arrival, she decided to stick with her. I gave you 4 soy sauce (which for what I ordered isn't even extra but again only gave me 2, and now this is BEYOND Soy sauce). She continually tried to berate and speak over me (as to create a scene in front of her current customers). So I told her to give me a refund. I tried to explain it to her that it's not about soy sauce , it's about the principal, dont call me a liar and try to argue with me about packets of sauce.If youre stingy and broke just say that. No ma'am, then to add insult to injury she tried to accuse me of eating the food... No, sweetheart, nice try.. want to smell my breath, check my teeth, better yet just look at all the contents, i.e., eggrolls, chicken, and hell, even the fork they provided... it was your soup like tso sauce and the overabundance of it that made the chicken slide out of the 2 small containers within the box and onto the fried rice on the edge.... Not 1 bite was taken... that's it for me... I'd rather take my money to my favorite place, get better and more for the same price..."
