"I was invited to a private party in Bistro 614. The party was a wedding shower by Sherry McNabb for her future daughter-in-law Erin Cattermole. That was my first visit to Bistro 614. We used the side entrance. When I saw the way with green, I immediately felt transported to a magical place. When I entered the building, I saw the radiant color, from stain glass to salt and pepper shaker. The interior was eclectic, all with style and grace from the Kunstdeco chandelier to the graceful wooden bar. Well, the best part, after an hour of socialization with cheese, fruits, bruschetta and mimosa we sat, made toast served to the bride and lunch. Our choices were: Chicken Caprese Salad Grilled Chicken, hand-rolled mozzarella, cut garden tomatoes, basil, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic reduction; Fresh Lump Crab Melt- Fresh Lump Crab Meat, open with green leaf salad and provolone cheese served on Ciabatta role; Quiche du Jour, (vegetarian) served with house salad; burgers; Burger. Desserts: Bread pudding/Sorbet/Ice cream. I chose the Bistro Burger, it was delicious, but I have to admit salad envy. All salads looked so good. Delicious is not a perfect word to describe the burger, but it is the first word I thought of after OMG. Desserts... I had the Berry Sorbet. Sorbet was so refreshing, the perfect product to clean the palate. From the hearing, “Best Bread Pudding I Ever Eat”, to others who over their dessert oohed and aahed, I think everyone was more than satisfied. I'm going back. I can't stop thinking about the Chicken Caprese Salad. And I want to add that I've ever had one of the best services. Thanks Bistro 614 and Sherry for a wonderful, unforgettable day."
