"As a former restaurant server I appreciate and value the hard work of anyone in the food industry. I also understand and am forgiving about inconveniences and things of that nature as I’ve been on the other end of the table so to speak. However, my friends and I were left disappointed today and with no excuse (all easy to please people mind you) We ordered bread and it never came, after politely reminding the server twice he said he put it in and he would resolve it. However this was not true, we received our food and were disappointed. My friend’s dish was supposed to come with clams and he did not receive them. The server said they ran out of clams so they put in extra shrimp… after cross examining the pics off the website this was debunked so we think the server lied to us (I was born at day but not yesterday) Later, my friend asked again about the whereabouts of the bread. The server said every time he would ask the kitchen staff would yell at him (maybe they beat him idk) and he said and I quote “I don’t know what to tell you at this point”. Servers jobs are to resolve issues for guests inconveniences. And he wasn’t even attempting to do that. Plankton himself wouldn’t hire this type of staff for the chum bucket. He represented the otherwise professional seeming staff poorly. To quote the princess bride this was “inconceivable” and honestly funny. Management if his claims about the staff are true that’s on you for allowing it."

"I recently had dinner at this restaurant and the average cost per person was over $100. The food was decent, I would rate it a 3 out of 5. The service was good, I would give it a 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was okay, I would also rate it a 3 out of 5. I would recommend trying the French Onion Soup."

"We have been going to Wood’s Ice Cream in Whitehaven for 18 years and have never had a bad experience, until now. The medium soft ice cream was served in a medium cup but the cup was half full and when I asked if that was a medium, the server said their servings have gotten smaller. Then my wife got a medium cone of hard ice cream and the amount of ice cream on the cone was less than what would be expected for a kid’s cone. When she complained the server said they were busy. As if they did not want to run out of ice cream. This used to be a go-to-place for us in the Poconos but not anymore. Don’t know what happened but ridiculously small servings for $7.10 aren’t going to cut it even though the quality is still good."

"Looks can be deceiving! The place looks like an abandoned rest stop, not a restaurant. It's more takeout than anything, BUT.... Friendly staff, GREAT food, and very fairly priced! "My husband and I were right next to the restaurant in the inn. Very comfortable location! The waitress was very helpful and attentive. She made us aware that articles are not immediately available on the menu and before we were disappointed by ordering and said they did not have it. The food was excellent as the cocktail drink! In any case it is worth going back!"

"they tried giving me a beef and cheese with BBQ sauce on it instead of Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich. crinkle fries were hard as a rock they were so old. no marinara for the Mozzarella Sticks (6 ea. which was the only edible part of the meal. This location is a joke. Poor management to say the least."

"My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch. She wanted a BLT. They said they can’t mKe it because they don’t know hot to ring it up on the cash register. Ok, so she said give me the chicken sandwich with bacon lettuce and tomato and the chicken on the side. They said they don’t have any regular bread. What about using the bread that they use on the roast beef open face? I mean come on guys. Very very disappointing. We are asking for a BLT not a 5 course meal! We won’t be back!"
