"Good food in a relaxing environment. We enjoyed all our dishes. The medium rare steak was exactly that, so a hat tip to the cook is due. On both the trout and steak entrees, it seemed like the meat to vegetable ratio was rather high we would have preferred to have more veggies and less meat. The chimichurri accompanying the trout didn 't quite balance with the rest of the dish; it tasted suspiciously like the ceviche sauce served at the the ahwahni. Still, the meal capped off the day nicely."

"Can't say typical because it's a one of a kind place, but the service was slightly sub-standard, and the food was overpriced for what it was. After a day out hiking, though, the best food and drink I've ever had for any price. I'm happy to pay a bit more, and tip well, in hopes that doing so will allow this place to continue as it has."

"The employee who took our order had one of the worst attitudes I have come across. They misheard what I asked for and, before I had even paid, when I told them this they were more interested in arguing with me about what I had apparently said than fixing the order they hadn't even put through yet. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional, they misheard and rather than fix the order they chose confrontation for no reason. Furthermore, I asked if we could wait inside as it was below freezing outside and no one else was waiting but we were quickly told to get out, and wait outside in the cold. Great pizza but I won't be going back here unless I have no other choice"

"Started our morning at the base of Yosemite Falls so this was the closest place for food. We arrived around 9:30 with the place closing at 10. There were about 15 groups of people behind us still when they closed the line at 10. Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 So we all ordered the breakfast bundle but received very different amounts of food. The bundle is eggs, protein, potatoes, and a croissant. The first person got a mound of eggs, the second some eggs but mostly the dry shavings of the egg, and we got another pastry since there were no eggs left. We were lucky since the cheese pastry was pretty good but the croissant was dry. The dry shaving of eggs were dry (obviously) and pretty much inedible. They should have given a replacement as well similar to our order. The bacon was pretty good but the sausages were super dry as well Ambience: 5/5 cafeteria atmosphere but clean and comfortable Service: 1/5 there is only one person per station and at one point the worker walked away and no one knew what was happening. The person we ordered from was short with us and seemed frustrated that he had to deal with us Value for price: 2/5 as long as you are here more than an hour before closing and they have sufficient food, should be okay"

"Friendly service and atmosphere. The fireplaces are fantastic! However, the food (we have rice dishes) was seriously lacking. The bathrooms were clean, much more beautiful than the public nearby. Good price on beer and apple wine."

"Found this jewel in Yosemite. I didn't know it existed. Two visits. Divorced on Saturday for dinner, then taken a lunch on Wednesday. Very different experiences on both days. Saturday: We are on the way back from the fire. We decided to order here because there were tons of people everywhere and we thought it would take a long time to get out of the park and we didn't want to starve. The food was very crowded. Long lines. There was a person on mask control. Many options in the menu. Warm soups are perfect in a cold night. I waited for an hour before I had my food in my hands. At that time, the crowds leaving the park were gone. So I'm not waiting in a warm meal. There was a cashier who seemed overwhelmed with the crowd because she wasn't so friendly. She was worried that I asked her what number they were on orders. The lady who leads us to move the line was very patient. All chefs and servers were nice. But no one had a smile. No complaints. We had pepperoni pizzas. My pizza was over boiled and hard. I was too tired to complain and wait for another pizza. We ordered lunch. We had hamburgers and fires. No lines. No masses. We have our lunch fast. The cash registers were friendly. Cooks and servers were friendly. Everyone had a smile. We had our burgers to go so that we could make the El Capitan on the meadow picnic. The burger would have tasted better to eat it warm, but the view was much more beautiful on the meadow."

"Interesting East Seats West menu. All menu items are tastefully moderate, but the atmosphere is definitely more beautiful than other food nearby. Good search for beer, pizza and tacos after a long day. Pros: beautiful, casual atmosphere; cocktails available; good prices negative: food is okay; Climbing the stairs after hiking Ober Yosemite Falls is a fight"
