"We went there with relatives. The ambience and the speed of the service are very good. The food was good, but nothing that I would cross town for. What really annoyed and disappointed me was the fact, that the waiter is out to fleece unsuspecting tourists or those who look like such. They have two types of Schnitzel on the menu, one made of veal and one made with pork. I am neither a traditionalist nor a dainty eater and wanted the pork variety. As i ordered Schnitzel the waiter didn ask me for clarification which one I wanted but brought me the more expensive veal variety. Not only that he also asked me if I would like cranberry compotte with it since it goes very nicely with it. I thought this was a ncie gesture until I got the bill and was charged several Euros for the small bowl. I do not like being taken advantage of. If he did it to me, he does it to a whole lot of other foreign customers, who fall into the trap of quaint little local unassuming restaurant. Very bad style and unprofessional!"

"A wonderful and relaxing experience with attentive and helpful staff and wonderful, authentic dishes. The boiled beef was fantastic, not dry and with wonderfully cooked vegetables and potato. Everything was done perfectly, even the boiled carrot had the perfect texture. The bean salad was delicious, fresh and crisp. The Gramerknodel were excellent in every respect. The Veal Meatballs were soft, fluffy and perfectly seasoned. They were perfectly composed by the silky potato puree. I recommend this restaurant, but would advise you to make a reservation. We are lucky when we went in the afternoon at 1630, and we are able to sit at a table that was not reserved or occupied. 5/5 for everything. If I'm ever back in Vienna, I'm sure I'm looking forward to my next visit to Huth."
