"Our hotel is near the Gare de Cornavin (Geneva's main train station), and La Matze is in a string of restaurants just off the public square outside the railway station. There was quite a selection of restaurants - Lebanese, Mexican, Italian, Chinese ... but we liked the look of - and the menu of - this restaurant.My wife and I had the cheese and mushroom, in the pot kept hot at your table with a little burner, supplied with a basket of broken bread and long forks. It was tasty and filling - a good portion for 2. We washed it down with lashings of Aperol Spritz."

The Chase 54 chf, Ok but the menu does not respond correctly to the price!!! I don't believe that you will be happy to pay this price for a failed Chasse menu like yours. With all due respect, go out, eat in places you don't know the boss. The game meat was too hard, dry... Brown, no good, too dry and inedible!!! Speatzli and red cabbage are very good, what can I say… one more thing, for 57 years, great, well done. An establishment that has a reputation and for a Friday evening, at least half the room was full, a shame. So we see something is wrong. Sorry but that's my experience "

"I had the pleasure of eating many times at "Le Ferrage" for lunch and dinner.The food is prepared from local produces. I rated it with a 4 for the service, the food and the value because we are in a high mountain pasture restaurant but for such a restaurant it well deserves a 5. The welcome is friendly and warm. If you meet the owner and talk to him then you will quickly realize you have a true passionate person. People who are working here are also always very attentive and available.The food is plentiful and always fresh. The meat is excellent, the kebabs are a sure value but fondues and slates do not demerit. I also recommends the cakes and pies of the day.The view of the mountain "Les Dents du Midi" is magnificent. The weather can be capricious however as with all the alpine restaurants. But the warm atmosphere of this place will make you forget the inconvenience. The restaurant has been renovated to keep you warm during fresh days and evenings.I'd like to sum up by saying I like going to "Le Ferrage" after a nice walk to the top of Bellevue.Pay attention that "Le Ferrage" is only opened from end of May to beginning of October because its winter access can only be done with a 4 wheels."

"Wir sind aufgrund der hervorragenden Bewertungen auf Ihrer Website in dieses Café zum Mittagessen gegangen. Die Realität war jedoch, zumindest was unsere Erfahrung betrifft, ganz anders. Kaum angekommen, wurden wir angestarrt und mustergültig betrachtet, als hätten wir die Tür zur Hölle geöffnet, während eine Gruppe Betrunkener an der Bar saß. Der Service, der von einem völlig überforderten Mädchen geleistet wurde, das keine Ahnung von ihrem Job hatte, war miserabel. Ich musste sogar an die Bar gehen, um meine Bestellung aufzugeben. Was das Essen betrifft, war auch hier die Enttäuschung groß: fade Zanderfilets, geschmacklose Burger, ein völliges Fiasko. Der einzige positive Aspekt war die Größe der Portionen. Also ideal für hungrige Menschen ohne Ansprüche..."
