"Traveling and ordering online from your hotel room are not as simple as it might sound if you dont speak the local language. My situation had me ordering late to hopefully get in a quick meal. A tour guide mentioned trying Lieferando so I went to their site and chose Thao to order from. After sifting my way through I managed to place an order and the site indicated that the restaurant promised to meet a 56 min delivery time. So I waited and as I did so I noticed the delivery time kept growing from 22:40 to 22:56. No worries I thought, I can handle a little longer... so I went to shower and came back and saw that it was now 23:14. I was pretty upset as it was now 22:20. I went on the Lieferando site and sent an email that this was unacceptable and wanted to cancel by order, I did not see any way to contact them by phone, not that I could speak German anyway. By the time if finished and set the notification I clicked back on the site delivery site to see a Sorry, unfortunately the restaurant cancelled your order . So, without any contact, you place an order, get promised a time, wait it out for a while and then without any additional info they cancel it. Somewhere in their philosophy the customer is last... dead last and leaving your customers high and dry after waiting says alot about their customer perspective. This is not a reliable place for at least deliveries and to me makes them an unreliable business all the way around. It 's not good food if it 's no food! ;"
