"I was in Esslingen in two separate occasions last summer, multi-week work trips. Of all the restaurants I tried in town, Raffaello stands out both for the quality of its food and the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The menu is authentic Southern-Italian, is changed weekly and is prepared according to tradition using genuine and fresh ingredients. The wine list also was very adequate. Finally I need to mention the owner, Mr. Raffaello, and his beautiful family who made me feel at home and eased the discomfort of leaving in a hotel for extend periods."
