"Sometimes when you're traveling abroad, you end up alone the day, tired and not always in the best hotels. Those who do this will recognize the clean towels and bed linen, but souls faded glory of the single room that greets the business travelers after a conference or show. The business came to the conclusion, but what to do in the evening and where to go in an unknown city for a sensually expensive dinner and a little home comfort. This weekend I met the jackpot on my trip to a fair in Frankfurt. My late booking found me in the accommodation numerous tram stops from the center, in the gray suburbs of the city, but after leaving my accommodation for the evening I walked, the first corner turned to find the “Paletti Bar” and restaurant. What a find! When I walked through the door, I felt soothing and gentle welcome. Sometimes a place is strange more than the sum of its parts and this little bar is one of them. The menu is largely vegan, and I'm really not vegan! It's really unusual to find only a meat dish on a menu where all the others are vegan, but don't let this out you cured meat eater! ... the food was very well presented, carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. It was delicious. It was also helped by the fact that this bar served around 20 different gins... although I stuck on some long beers. if you find yourself in Frankfurt. Take a small ride from the center on tram 17 and get off when it hits the last stop, walk a few hundred meters then relax in this quiet inconceivable little bar. I write this quietly sitting, listen to some Simon Garfunkel type music and feel like I could be in San Francisco, not in Central Germany, and I can not recommend it enough, it is an absolute credit for its busy owners and their team."
